Joel is about 1.95 cm, one of the advantages with the DreamCase is the frontal support, as it prolongs the mattress area and people up to 2.05 cm can sleep in their car. There is a trick to leave a 8 cm gap for pillows towards the front seats, as it makes the bed even longer.

Magnet outside is completely a bad design. You can't close the window completely, cold wind will get in. Also criminal can force the window open if you leave a gap. Definitely not for me

Hi Michael, The windows will be completely closed. The material is especially strong and thin to be able to be in-between the glass & doorframe. It will not leak any air due to the rubber material in the door seal.

I love to do this in my Prius. It's a bit easier too. Since I don't have to level out anything and you want to use that space behind the front seats for storage if camping out. Where else you going to put it?

A Tesla still have a fair bit more space than a Prius ✌ Frunk, Basement Trunk, Backseat footwell, Front Seats (While sleeping on the bed) But the most amount of space by far, is on the bed itself. You can drive around with it fully setup, and keep your bags on the bed, switch frontseats while sleeping.

Camp Mode consumption depends of various factors: Temp, Battery Size, Length. In general 8-10 hours sleep takes away about 25-40 km (17-30 miles) range in normal 15-20 c weather. Winter camping is about twice. Thumb rule is about 10 % range loss, not bad when you got 250-350 miles of range. Works great, and lets you camp in incredible nature spots in perfect comfort.

I'll be camping in my Model Y over the next few weeks ... driving from Florida to New York ... will stay in hotels during my drive up ... but once there, it's time to go camping near Bear Mountain, just to the north of New York City ... I slept countless times in my car (ford focus mk2 saloon facelift) and it is super comfortable and I always slept very good. The only Issue is when it’s hot even in the night. I can sleep at -2 degrees no problem, but 30 degrees at night is not doable. I will pick up a model 3 next week, can’t wait to test it out! especially in summer with ac is going to be a game changer!

Thanks. One question: Did he just set the stat. air con for the night (two times)? Or did he leave the ignition on? One has to? Does the stat. air con also work without the ignition, I think so! Because in the morning the car was turned on.

Not sure, but think I remember the car has a timer, so you set it two times to cover the night, so it runs all night. It does not have a dedicated Camp Mode, but you can set the timer and create one! I hope this is helpful!

This is great, and really thought carefully about design and comfort. Its the first product that I can see in a video is high quality, durable and would most likely be a comfortable sleep. But at the price, it is really too much but I understand it. Maybe I will buy this one day when I have some free cash, as honestly this is better option than buying a RV/Camper Van as more and more people are ditching hotels with the crazy prices.

Good to know. I'd use an insulated sleeping pad and a zero or -15 degree sleeping bag with a good liner and an inflatable down pillow with a sleeping mask and noise cancelling ear protection.

Same. Been camping/tenting in -25 degrees while ski touring. Good winter camping gear and you don't need to worry about the heating or battery charge. I would skip on the sleeping mask and ear protection though, but this depends on where you stand.

People unto 2 meters have space, the bed is 194 cm, but, by tilting the seats up more you create a gap over the frontal supported area so you pillow is interlocked by the 10-15 gap on the backside of the front seats, this makes the bed effectively 205-210 cm long!
