Thank you. The finishing touch of a figure and dog set the story. Great last move! I've found transparent orange and light pinks in a sky at sunset, without clouds, turn out pretty lovely even for watercolours if carefully using a couple of loose layers. I often see them here where I live. Thank you again Robert ☀️ just great commentary too about not being able to replicate the beauty of nature but can only do our best. So true. 😊

Very abstract and great to see you being so brave doing this as it inspires me and I'm sure others to keep going when it looks messy. The white gouache is also my go-to finishing touches in most of what I do. Thanks Robert 👍

I greatly appreciate your interpretation of the photo and what you added to make it much more interesting. Very very good instruction and demonstrated technique. It is really helpful to see how you interpret a photo and paint it. It is hard for us beginners to know where to start. Thanks a lot sir. Don Sylvester Houston, Texas

I can remember how difficult it was at the beginning, so glad I can help other watercolour artists. It is such a great medium to paint.

Lovely colours. The addition of the figure & dog brought it to life. Thank you for sharing. Bought myself a MADISI watercolour set online (only £25). The colours are gorgeous & most of them are transparent. The set came today. Methinks they will be great for painting plein air.

I'm curious about your palette. Do you squeeze fresh colour into it regularly or do you wet the pigment to keep it so juicy?
@RobertMeeArtist2 күн бұрын
I use Rembrandt and Daniel Smith tube paints and store my palette with lid closed. They seem to stay wet pretty well. Plus I paint regularly so it doesn't get a chance to dry out!
