Lots of reps get treated badly by mlm. Lots of families lost money also believing your lies. Some spent their last $100 on a kit that was supposed to be life changing. We were promised fellowship, extra income, sisterhood; and all of that if we just showed up and worked so hard. You have no idea how many families have lost money and faith because of you. I’ll never forget how worthless you kept making me feel after I’d spend money helping YOU reach your goals. I hope you truly do stop taking peoples money for a kit that will most likely not make them much money.

This needs to get more views so everyone can see how predatory MLMs are. Huns want to constantly talk down about "working for a corporation" but you do too, you are not a "business owner". At least if I get laid off, I have skills on my resume, typically a severance and continued benefits for a period of time. You're clearly good at sales, so maybe you can use that to get a job. Hopefully you don't join another MLM and continue to scam other people. This should be a lesson that we are all replaceable, no matter who you work for. Unfortunately, you put all your candles in one basket.

I can only imagine how large your team was after 17 years. Just think how much money this company is going to save not having to pay out all your downlines stuff to you. In one swift action, they are probably going to save them thousands. No matter how it shakes out, may I suggest avoiding MLMs forever. 99% of the time, it is going to work out really bad whether 1 year or 20. Extended time in one only makes you have more to lose. Truly start your own business. 🖖

Regardless of your feelings on MLM’s, these are two real and lovely people who worked a job for 17 years. They selflessly gave freely of their time and talents to help others within the organization. Is it really necessary to use this painful moment in their life to issue an “I told you so” about MLM’s. THIS is how they earned their living and it’s gone! They have a family and bills to pay just like the rest of us. Have some compassion people. I hope you never find yourself in a situation where you are looking for support from fellow humans on this earth and you get kicked while you are down. I too have been accused of things (by someone in my upline) with no justification of those accusations ... definately not the same level nor as drastic as what's happened to you but the principle is there ... I have taken some action but still deciding what my next steps will be ... love you guys ... fortunately you have God with you 😎🌞🥰

I’m so sorry to hear that you were dropped and thrown to the wayside at a moment’s notice after dedicating so much of your time, passion, and hard work to your company. I am also sad to say that I’m not surprised an MLM company would do this. I hope others can learn through your experience and rethink their choice to be involved in the network marketing industry, as this is so incredibly common and happens in many companies. My heart is saddened for you and family. I know how hard it is to be successful in this company as you put all in your it. I will not stand by their decision. Unfortunately this is the reality of being involved in an MLM. You don't own your work, it's all for the people at the top of the pile. And everything you've done for the company can be taken away from you with no notice.

I'm not glorifying someone's hurt feelings but maybe this is your sign to stop being involved with predatory businesses? This isn't your own business and they can do whatever they want. MLMs are disgusting.

I'm so sorry for you guys, and it is def. not okay. It's quite obvious though, what's going on. The company has lost a lot since 2021 from $1020 mill. to $579 mill. in 2023. That is almost a halving. So the company does, what mlm companies has been doing for long in a broken industry - they terminate the expensive top leaders for self-invented reasons, they can't explain. I'm afraid, this is only the beginning. This has happened before, but we will see a lot of this in companies, which are struggling. But keep the Faith and be strong 🙏🏼❤️

Wow. I don't know all the details, so I won't share opinions, I just came here to say I'm so sorry you guys are going through this.

So much for all the huns out there who say they run their own business. 🙄

I’m also very confused because I know one SSD in particular who does have an actual other business and yet they haven’t canceled her? Shouldn’t it all be an equal playing field? What about those who work for a corporation and peddle their products in addition to Scentsy? So if you work at Walmart in the home department wouldn’t you have a conflict of interest? Why is Scentsy picking and choosing? I’d seek the advice of a lawyer but they do have a pretty iron clad terms of agreement that most don’t even read. Remember also, there is a clause in their agreement that they now own your social media accounts if you’ve ever even mentioned Scentsy and you can no longer sell anything to them regardless of what it is. There’s also a clause that if you do they can then sue you for damages and fees. I’d seek legal counsel.

From what I've heard, 17 years should have been way more than enough time to become multi-millionaires and you can just retire now.

Huge hugs! My heart breaks for you both! I completely understand the shock and disbelief as I was terminated by email also after back and forths with Legal. My tax status changed and Scentsy wouldn't accept my IRS forms. My team rolled up to my sponsor and that was it. Absolute disbelief. I want to thank you so much for teaching me along the way. Your trainings proved invaluable to me and y'all's lessons on the enneagram spurred more research and reading and have been life changing for us. I know you have a gift in teaching and I know your ministry is fixing to blow wide open as God is going to use you both in mighty and powerful ways. Will pray you through as your heart heals. What happens to the people that are under this family? So sad that these companies prey on people, who prey on the next group of people, who prey again and again and again. These mlm companies are almost cult like and people should be smart enough to stay away!
