I like that you can shoot (or throw) upwards and downwards rather than just straight forward as in the original. In Super Ghost 'n Goblins, you could double jump and you can have a shield.

This is one of those games where I could never cultivate the patience nor comprehend what is needed to complete, even in the cheapest way possible. You deserve all the respect for a perfect run like this, man.

Good for nostalgia and about 2 minutes of game play before it becomes so impossible to even play. Super high on potential but even higher on disappointment. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Ghosts & Goblins is easily the biggest and worst scam in almost all of video games. After the first level your game is over. Period. No one has ever nor will they ever beat this game. You have zero chance of enjoying this game. I was super reluctant to buy this game cause of how impossibly hard all the others were. This sealed the deal for me that I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER G&G game ever again. Whoever the designers are should not only be fired, they should be in prison for stealing millions from unsuspecting victims. Sound dramatic? Maybe. But accurate I assure you. This “game” disguised as a game needs to Go to the retro grave yard and never EVER come back. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!

Hello friends, I'm really happy to see that this video is still being watched three years after I uploaded it. I still get a lot of comments, some of them saying that the video is cheating, so I thought I'd talk about that. I'm using a translator, so please forgive me if my sentences are a bit awkward. First of all, this video is not a playthrough from start to finish, it's a compilation of separate videos of each stage. In the original video, I cut out the cutscenes, but since the concept of watching the video from the opening to the ending, I thought it would be better to have a cutscene in the middle, so I replayed it and put the cutscenes back in. The timing errors you see because of the cutscenes are for that reason 😂 Also, I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so if I didn't like the gameplay, I restarted even if I didn't take any damage, so there are more dramatic moments than in other people's videos. For example, the scene at 7:00, the scene at 36:13, and things like that. I didn't get hit by any of them, but I would restart the game from the beginning just because I didn't get the shot I wanted 😁 I spent as little as 2 hours and as much as 8 hours recording no-damage footage of each stage, and I still remember pulling all-nighters to get the footage. My Nintendo Switch is unmodded and untouched, so even if I wanted to cheat, I wouldn't know how to do it. I'm not going to bother trying to explain whether or not I'm cheating anymore. If you don't want to believe me, you won't believe me anyway, and I have nothing to be ashamed of because I'm the one who played the game and I know the truth. Anyway, to those who have watched this video so far and those who will watch it in the future, I am eternally grateful. I've been pretty inactive on KZbin lately due to lack of time, but hopefully one day I'll be actively uploading videos once again. Thank you, friends!

I always found the ghouls and ghosts series extremely difficult, so watching someone taking the time to conquer the game with no hit is remarkable. The random spawns and learning the patterns looks frustrating and overwhelming. Definitely will leave this challenge to the pros lol

쌍용 아저씨들이 이상하게 번역도 하다말고 컷신은 노자막이 원본이라 그런지 자막도 넣을 여력없어서 그대로 내보내고,, 어린시절에 영어도 많이 안트여서 뭔내용인지 몰랐었는데 마지막 쥬노 전 이후 데이터 대사가 정말 큰 떡밥이었었네요,, 저런 멋진장면을 영어로 말하는데 알아듣지도 못했다니

It's a good thing you weren't the guy QA testing the game for the devs. They would have thought that they made the game too easy!

I played for around 40 minutes and quit because I was not moving far from the first checkpoint, so I uninstalled it and enjoyed an old version with Frankensteins.

Looks very cute and heavy. The old version has its charms, though. Your gameplay is masterful!

The older look has much more color depth and cohesion over the crisper look of the remaster, that's for sure. A couple battle backgrounds and Mode 7 bits arguably look better in the PR version - and widescreen is great of course - but overall I definitely prefer the original's look, sadly enough.

That's got to be bad because PS5 has some of the worst textures I've ever seen at times
