Just got a 19 Frontier a couple months ago, just outside 60-mo powertrain warranty. It idles as low as 600 warmed-up and stopped in gear (assuming tach gauge is accurate, but I know it's rather low), and sometimes wants to die but catches itself when I shift between R and D, or sitting stopped in gear and the AC compressor turns on (because reasons). My workaround for now is I pop it in N when I know I'm going to be stopped for a moment (like at a red light). I tried idle relearn, which helped for maybe about a week, but the low idle returned. Throttle and MAF are whistle clean. I was next curious about idle adjustment without getting ugly looks and robbed by a stealership LOL. I may consider this.

I had the P100 - 3000 amp that you had in the video and I jumped a car earlier this week and used it for the first time and the guy was really impressed so I told him to keep it for a while since he's a neighbor in case he needs to jump the car again and I just ordered and received the P120 which is 5000 amp by the same company and good for 10L diesel and engine. I think it's still on sale at Amazon. One thing you didn't mention was if you hook it up to a completely dead battery and the light does not turn green there's a 'force start reset button' that you push in for 3 seconds and the light will turn green. The button is on the side where you connect it in to the box.
@reidjensen5692 ай бұрын
first of all, how do you like you the upgrade and is it worth the money? Second question when you upgrade does the new box also upgrade to the new processor, fire control? Or are you still using Mach3?
@smittyvideos26192 ай бұрын
I honestly couldn't go back to not having it. Yes it is ready to run FireControl, I feel Mach3 is a better all around program but firecontrol is specific for these tables and has run flawlessly for me.

hay smity what is your mill specs on that like turbine with and length and hammer length and thickness i like the turbine setup. screen looks a little small what ya running 1.5"-2" round.
@smittyvideos261911 ай бұрын
I'll have to take some measurements, I haven't worked on this one in a while. Just a guesstimate would be roughly 4' long 2.5' wide. Hammer length is 9 inches, and screen selection depends on material usually 1.5" on the downside 3" on the upside.
@jeromyw385xp11 ай бұрын
@@smittyvideos2619 wow I was always told you run the same size screen if you have a two pace screen unless your doing it for a mulch mixture. haveing that long of hammer is crazy big too. you must have one big spacing between the turbine and the screen with low arch screen for sure witch would make sence. mine only has 3/4"x 5" long hammers on it currently with about 3/4"-1" space between the hammer and the screen spacing but I'm planning on upgrading the turbine and putting solid plates on it with thicker hammers and heavier rods and thicker heavier screen just trying to figure out what size thickness of plates to put on the turbine without going to heavy because I don't plan on running anything other then brush slabwood and small stumps in it like anything under 10" nothing bigger and regrinding. your information will help me out thanks again and be safe grinding.
@smittyvideos261911 ай бұрын
@@jeromyw385xp yes sir, for regrind/compost we'll run 3" on both sides the older rotted stuff will pack the smaller ones up, and yes the two different sizes is to keep the material in the dye longer. happy grinding and be safe.
