I never thought of peeling the ginger before your video on the topic. Always added it with its skin on to my teas. I didn't add ginger to other cooking so never had to think of clearing its skin off. I did negligible cooking😌 I have been using this trick after your video & ginger feels nice now. I don't know if this additional step or due to something else but I have started to use ginger way less than I used before on a daily basis. 🤔 I hardly add ginger to my teas now. But I remember to use this trick whenever I do...🙂 Thanks

Why does my egg shell crack when I add the hot water
@Recipesaresimple
@Recipesaresimple 14 күн бұрын
Hi🙂The water is boiled and a little cool water is added to it. Heat is switched off before adding the eggs *gently* to the water. Boiling water is not added to the eggs. Also use room temperature eggs and the eggs should Not crack if this method is followed unless they already had some slight cracks in them.hope this helps.

Nice to rewatch your recipe videos after long. Glad these videos remain on KZbin persistenly because I tend to forget recipes, and moved like a nomad before so didn't carry a recipe diary. Also, it is not encouraged to use smart devices where I live, still I have managed in my own ways. My devices too have been failing since last few years. I lost my laptop & mobile devices to early screen breakage or keyboard lapse😌 It is not easy for me to access Internet or watch KZbin but due to persistent nature of KZbin I feel relaxed that even if I died tomorrow, tomorrow itself will never die and these videos will exist. Thanks so much for simple things. People generally mock when we look up simple things or ask simple questions. It is not easy to fight such a mockery but was necessary for me to fight that mockery. It has helped me as an individual not sure about social aspects of it....😊

@@Recipesaresimple Will do. Currently I want to get the basics done..I am not a good cook. I make my ends meet somehow. Infact calling me a cook can be derogatory. But I still cook to eat healthy as much as I can. I have developed several diseases when eating out for a bit due to nomadic life then. It is these basic simple recipes that I rely on to survive a little bit more ❤️❤️ thanks. Will definitely check later.

I also have to add that the cursive font in the videos is very inaccessible - it could be nearly impossibly for someone with vision impairment or dyslexia to read- I hope you use an accessible font in future videos :)

Why oh why are important measurements like flour and sugar only listed in cups and not grams? This could be so innacurate
