We sailed her in August 2024 on a Greek Island tour. We stopped at Bodrum instead of Istanbul. Weather was fantastic, people friendly. The ship was clean and the crew friendly. Food was ok. We weren’t impressed with the entertainment.

Mistake. Blinis are salty pancakes. The batter is made of buckwheat and wheatflour, melt butter, eggs and cream and milk. Blinis are fried in plenty of butter and they are served with local red caviar, sour cream, chopped onion, mushroom salad, pickled beetroot and pickled small cucumbers. Very rich but good. In addition to blinis which are eaten wintertime, usually febr and march, there are pancakes which are thinner than american pancakes. You eat pancakes all year round, with jam and whipped cream. A traditional thursday lunch or dinner is peasoup and pancakes for desert.

Seealpseelake is the best I've ever heard 🙂 9:38 There is an alp (alpine summer meadow) in Appenzell with a lake, so they called the alp "Seealp", and the lake, that was on this alp, they called the lake on the "Seealp" or the "Seealpsee". Then a english speaking person came along and heard about the Seealpsee, so he called it Lake Seealpsee or Seealpseelake or , fully translated into english, the lakealplakelake.... 🙂🙂
