A question that with some thought might be difficult to answer....I would always side with democracy however, because Benevolent dictatorships only depend on whatever putz is currently in charge....at least in a democracy you have a chance to change things, because you can vote and have a say...so things tend to right themselves eventually...just takes a while....whereas in a dictatorship, you get a mad man in charge your just in terror and other than rising up and fighting and probably dying, your pretty much stuck.

Ultimately, Yang is an academic and a scholar, so I can appreciate his objectivity in his approach to debates. Reinhard, on the other hand, shows why you shouldn't be too emotionally attached to your views such that everything feels like an attack whenever a counterpoint is brought up... bc with any ideology or philosophy... it'll happen.
