Thinking you can teach NPCs to not be NPCs is a real NPC mindset

To have a better chance of getting through to them, rather than statements, are questions a mechanism to activate a more thoughtful set of circuits in their mind?
@SelfGeneratedPodcast10 сағат бұрын
Yes, asking thoughtful questions can help encourage reflection rather than a reactive defense of existing beliefs. Patience is crucial here. The goal is to guide them through an internal challenge of their ideas, helping them release the need to be right or for you to be wrong without them really knowing. Keep in mind that even if they begin to understand what you're saying, it may cause cognitive dissonance, where they struggle to reconcile conflicting ideas. Changing these thought patterns is more of a journey, like playing a whole game, not just achieving one decisive slam dunk. Thank you for engaging!

Is there a way you could chunk up the information into more summed up concepts and have more visuals in future videos? I find the topic very intriguing but tend to find my mind drifting and missing large chunks of what's being said.

I am neutral. As awesome as it is if it just used to monetize pics of cat ears on people, mass media slop, hyper target ads, take jobs then not so much. The system needs to change and with the tools we have we might be able to have a no BS Star Trek type existence in the not crazy future. But tools alone won't fix us.

I liked the McPherson comment. We see others in a way of relating to our own experience in life, and that's a good thing if compared with the right attitude. The Bible says something in a metaphor of first removing the wooden beam from our own eye before we can remove the splinter from your brother's eye. Sometimes when I'm angry and judgemental about what someone else automatically does, then I ask myself if I have the same problem and am released from that automatic burden of unnecessary angry judgements and I then work on forgiving myself also for something simular and likewise FEEL more patient with my fellow beings.
@SelfGeneratedPodcastКүн бұрын
I really appreciate your thoughtful comment. You're absolutely right and it’s easy to project our own unresolved issues onto others, but when we take a step back and reflect, it helps us grow in patience and understanding. The Bible metaphor you mentioned really hits home, and I think self-forgiveness is a big part of a healthy being.

Kind of really I think we are just the universe experiencing itself. That can go pretty deep. Really everything is the universe experiencing itself all the bad all the good. All the trees, the sunlight, everything that exists is what created it

Let's say you wake up and find yourself trapped in a room with two windows. In each window, you see a person bound to an active torture device. There's a button in your room, and pressing it will stop one of the torture devices. Would it make any sense not to press that button purely because you disagree with the options presented to you and the situation you're in? No, you press the button and reduce suffering. This is why one should vote even if the options aren't ideal, even if we dislike the system itself. We are _in_ that system, and inaction leads to harm.

The "classical" denotation of this idea is that we do not have Free Will. EVERYTHING is just a stimulus -response dynamic. There are piles of evidence indicating the absence of free will and very little evidence that people are conscious, independent or free in their actions. Anyway, good luck with your channel.

To my understanding people who label other people as npc's are simply projecting instead of resonating. We can only identify in others what we have in ourselves, for we all share the human experience. When I hear someone put someone down, or admire someone, what I hear from them is "I am like this, but I'm so ashamed of it I have buried it in my subconscious so I can only see it in others" compared to resonating with others, its why loving your enemies is doing deep work towards loving yourself. Keep up the good work brother.

"Only when you consciously experience the world as NPC's and CGI's then we get a wider glimpse of what it's to be a human" been speaking about this idea since the past decade. Interestingly I've dedicated my life to study psychophysics and psychophysiology and MOTION, which tackle many issues that you were talking about, and what makes it weirder is that throw the practice of conscious motion I have a solid theory that I apply on my body. So most of our motion is unconscious, however I have programmed my unconscious motion to be conscious, and planted drunkenness into my awareness. So my life is more of a controlled psychosis and somatics, So I'm in moment to moment struggle of being what I thinknis human and being an NPC and moving as a CGI that looks very authentic for people. I hope this makes some sense. Cool ringtone btw, yesterday I thought of using it as a ringtone too hahaha.

Great stuff as usual. I urge you to look into Germanic Healing Knowledge. Cancer is not what you think it is. Cancer is not a bad thing, it’s just an adaptation that the body makes from a conflict shock to our psyche. Our psyche, brain and organs are all tied together. The body adapts to keep us alive. Since we all live very un-biological lives we are ripe for conflict shocks. It’s very interesting and proven by Dr. Hamer.

Well put. Yes, each perceiving entity's perception of life is an interpretation. Its a matter of which sets of interpretations you choose to buy into - whether corporate speak or righteous indignation or bro culture - you choose both from and within the mental constructs you as the individual developed thru moments in life. If a sliver of existence is unfathomable to you because it deviates from your known and/or adjacent concepts, your capacity to understand is the place where your internal character impetus of this over that is the pivot point of all you do and perceive. Its whether you allow new information into your abiding mental construct system or not, and whether the subsequent interpretation of the current social structure dictates are considered and followed as valid. (Slavery was a valid cultural norm for a while - just as a reminder) In other words, there are things I think in private that the mundane minds of this world cannot fathom, but I recognize small minds haven't the perceptive capacity to understand, so I do not share those thoughts as they would be derided as crazy. That's ok, more for me.

Wow! I'm so glad the algorithm somehow lead me here and am really intrigued by the ideas you've referenced and the "context" you've put out there. Wasn't familiar with a lot of the terminology you used, such as active inference, predictive processing, etc. I think I have "perceived" these ideas somehow before, just knew them in a more vague way (and am hoping my investigation of these terms and some of the resources you referenced will guide me to a fuller understanding of them). Through listening to the past couple videos I was reminded of the teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurti and his ideas of "the known", conditioning, and intelligence, possibly he would interest others drawn to this channel as well Looking forward to listening in on your podcast each week, although probably still need to digest some of ideas from the first three more deeply haha
@SelfGeneratedPodcast2 ай бұрын
Yeah, the funny thing is that the core of these ideas can be found throughout various frameworks and philosophies. I'm still learning and figuring out the technical and content sides, but I will be composing media weekly to continue exploring and refining how to explain and see this for ourselves. Thanks for watching and listening!
