Yeah Manchester seems to be the worst for that. The others I’ve visited so far; Birmingham, Bristol & Cardiff all have Nativity Scenes and Santas around.

Yeah I can imagine how busy it gets. I can’t say I’ve flown from T2 yet, normally just 1 or 3

Would you rather have empty ghost town nobody had fun no point of filming with nobody at the markets we do live in grownup world with appreciation of someone took out there time to produce content that provides enhanced look on Christmas with people of course and tourism all given for that computer that you use to get daily content that is all expected since time you search it 🎉

Same as anything that has the word Christmas infront of it, instantly increases the price

This was filmed on the first Saturday after it opened. So was potentially the busiest day, will be better midweek

Yeah it’s a real mix of styles. You’d think they would try to keep it as uniform as possible

Pickpockets can be an issue in any main city around the world nowadays

@petesinclair8753 I'm very glad I'm made aware about this. I haven't been aware of any pickpockets in manchester really. The last time I was there was last year, and I did take my phone at the time. I still had it with me afterwards though. These things are quite expensive, I would be very annoyed and upset if I ever lost mine in this way. I'm going to make a mental note of pickpockets for when I visit the markets I think. I do hope to keep an eagle eye on mine when I take it with me hehe.👍

Hi, yeah that’s a good point. I did mean to write it in the description but missed it off. This is starting at Exchange Square and walking down New Cathedral Street, onto Exchange Street and then looping back round in St Ann’s Square and back down the other sides.

Hi again. Thank you for replying with the names of the market areas you visited. I found it quite helpful. When you said you went back down the other sides, was that looping back round and going back down from st anne's square, walking the whole route backwards instead of forwards, or are there still 1 or 2 market areas you didn't mention? I'm sorry if I'm still a bit confused here. One other thing.... I come to the manchester markets on the tram. (I live quite local to manchester) I don't think I've visited these areas of the manchester markets yet. Do you know how far the nearest tram station is from here please?

@littlemissie7978 yeah just walking back down the other side of the stalls. From St Ann’s Square down to Exchange Square. @@scenicrouteytHi again. Thanks a lot for the extra, very helpful reply.🙂 Exchange square is the market area I don't think I've visited as yet. I'll be starting my visit there next week, so I'll be looking forward to that. I'm aware that visiting during the week is less busier with people rather than at the weekend too. So yep, a week day it will be for my visit to the markets. Having the trams right next to Exchange Square sounds very handy, and should make it very easy for me to travel there and back. Thanks for the link to Pic Gardens Market too. I enjoyed watching through it, and hoping to visit that one sometime next week too. Thank you for your very helpful and friendly replies. Yeah I noticed the same last year. It seems like most of the stalls are ran by a company and not small businesses like you’d expect, most of the staff all in the same uniform across different stalls. The Manchester market wasn’t as bad this year, it’s probably one of the better ones in the UK. I’ve got about 7 more markets planned to film so will see how the rest are this year.

@@scenicrouteyt your better off going to the small towns with real Christmas craft fares. In 2023 Lincoln cancelled it's Christmas market due to overcrowding. Also the local shops actually saw in decrease on trade due to people spending in the stalls and not with them

@old.not.too.grumpy. Yeah I’ve got a mix of cities and towns to visit. Probably with the towns like you said is the size of the streets verses amount of people.
