[Isinumpa sila] dahil sa kawalang-pananampalataya nila, sa pagsabi nila laban kay Maria ng isang paninirang-puring sukdulan, 157. at sa pagsabi nila: "Tunay na kami ay pumatay sa Kristo Jesus na anak ni Maria, na Sugo ni Allāh." Hindi sila nakapatay sa kanya at hindi sila nagpako sa kanya sa krus subalit may pinahawig sa kanya para sa kanila. Tunay na ang mga nagkaiba-iba hinggil sa kanya ay talagang nasa isang pagdududa sa kanya. Walang ukol sa kanila hinggil sa kanya na anumang kaalaman maliban sa pagsunod sa palagay. Kaya dahil sa isang kawalang-katarungan mula sa mga nagpakahudyo ay nagbawal sa kanila ng mga kaaya-ayang ipinahintulot [dati] sa kanila, at dahil sa pagsagabal nila sa landas ni Allāh nang madalas, 161. pagkuha nila ng patubo, gayong sinaway na sila kaugnay rito, at paglamon nila sa mga yaman ng mga tao sa kawalang-saysay. Naglaan Kami para sa mga tagatangging sumampalataya kabilang sa kanila ng isang pagdurusang masakit. 162. Subalit ang mga nagpakalalim sa kaalaman kabilang sa kanila at ang mga mananampalataya ay sumasampalataya sa anumang pinababa sa iyo at anumang pinababa bago mo pa. Tunay na ang mga tumangging sumampalataya at lumabag sa katarungan, hindi nangyaring si Allāh ay ukol magpatawad sa kanila ni ukol magpatnubay sa kanila sa isang daan, 169. maliban sa daan ng Impiyerno bilang mga mananatili roon magpakailanman. Laging iyon, kay Allāh, ay madali. 170. O mga tao, naghatid nga sa inyo ang Sugo ng katotohanan mula sa Panginoon ninyo. Kaya sumampalataya kayo, mabuti ito para sa inyo. Kung tumatanggi kayong sumampalataya, tunay na sa kay Allāh ang anumang nasa mga langit at lupa. Laging si Allāh ay Maalam, Marunong. 171. O mga May Kasulatan, huwag kayong magpalabis sa relihiyon ninyo at huwag kayong magsabi tungkol kay Allāh kundi ng totoo. Ang Kristo Jesus na anak ni Maria ay sugo ni Allāh lamang, salita Niya na ipinarating Niya kay Maria, at isang espiritu na mula sa Kanya. Kaya sumampalataya kayo kay Allāh at sa mga sugo Niya. Huwag kayong magsabi ng tatlo. Tumigil kayo; mabuti [ito] para sa inyo. Si Allāh ay nag-iisang Diyos lamang. Kaluwalhatian sa Kanya na magkaroon Siya ng isang anak. Sa Kanya ang anumang nasa mga langit at ang anumang nasa lupa. Nakasapat si Allāh bilang Pinananaligan. 172.
