We, as humans, relive this nightmare over and over again until the fever drops, and suddenly for a moment there is clarity: We see the pointlessness and farce of war, we the feel shame of doing the most inhumane things to our fellow man in the name of humanity. Then, as either the vanquished or the triumphant, we realize the irony; sometimes we are compelled to use the most treacherous methods to stop the most horrific sins of man. And yet the cycle begins again.

The film of “Gone With The Wind” was filmed in the 30s. It was before World War II started. I cannot believe this fact. And the quality of this movie is just amazing.

If Scarlett had been observing proper mourning tradition, she would not have been at the ball. Period. Not even working in some charity booth. And surely even she would not have been so tasteless as to wear a bonnet and veil to an evening event. As plot devices go, it was a good one, and it worked -- but it did require that tradition had already been suspended.

this is why you should never ever allow ideology driven fanatics to rule the nation. Today Germany's economy is detroyed by Green lunatics. And all of the EU will feel the consequences.

The scene of the husband holding his wife in his arms and climbing the stairs 4 BY 4.. And we still wonder why there are still 250 rapes per day in France, most often in the marital sphere.

I believe this animation is a masterpiece, a poignant blend of beauty, art, and tragedy. I believe the Red Duke envisioned gaining absolute power by elevating artificial humans to a superhuman status. He wasn't merely a politician; he was plotting to create a hierarchical society where a race of superhuman beings would rule over humanity. Given the existence of other nations in this world, as evidenced by Kenichi and his uncle's arrival from a foreign land, the Duke likely feared that a society based on such a rigid hierarchy could lead to international isolation and economic decline. He might have perceived his unique societal structure as either too radical or too inhumane for other nations to accept. Hence, his pursuit of developing revolutionary weapons, such as those utilizing Omonium. The Duke believed that to ensure the survival of his ideal society, he needed to create an unprecedented, overwhelmingly powerful weapon to expand his dominion. There was no need to model the robot after his daughter. Yet, his desire to see her grow up, perhaps, led him to make that fateful decision. The Red Duke, while appearing as a cold, ambitious dictator, was also a man who had lost a child. He was a complex individual with a human side. Perhaps his desire to conquer the world stemmed from a belief that a unified world would lead to lasting peace. Ironically, this aspiration ultimately led to a tragic outcome, not only for his adopted son and Kenichi but for his own ambitions as well. The characters, from the villainous Duke to the idealistic revolutionaries, are all flawed and driven by their own unique motivations. The tragedy that unfolds is a result of human emotion, not abstract concepts.
