I'm really happy to find someone who has had an easy go with, what I consider to be, the one cancer, above all other types, that I never want to get. When I was a teen I naturally tanned dark without lying in the sun trying to tan. I never burned. I remember my mom gave me $20 once if I'd cover up for rest of summer - she was concerned how dark I was getting. Because of the natural exposure I got as a kid + teen I have made the decision + have avoided the sun totally for years. People lying in the sun + using tanning beds need to watch a video about multiple myeloma because so many people know very little about practices that are dangerous in promoting cancer + avoiding them. Come to think of it I need to do some more reading. I do wish you the best of luck + believe that you did have a great Dr who acted early. All the best. P.S: There is a KZbin channel called "The Patient Story" who is run by a cancer survivor who has patient survivors come on the show + tell their story's. It is divided into playlists based on the cancer type. It is a wonderful resource for patients just diagnosed to help, through knowledge, dispell fear from the unknown. I think that your story would be great to show that the disease isn't always life changing + a nightmare. It's just a thought! Again best wishes!❤

actually, I think we need more of these stories. I come from a family with a history of melanoma, my sister passed away 3 1/2 years ago. Im Irish Italian Greek and German. I had all the irish red headed and pale. she had all the Italian and Greek, so black hair, could tan. so we never even thought she was at risk. she got her mole on the back, so never knew it was there, nodular melanoma only takes 2-3 weeks, to maybe a month, cause it grows down, not outward. I learned from her ordeal, you have to attack it as soon as possible. I dont care how small or unconcern you are, if theres a little part of (you) that is concerned, go get it removed. there are advancements every day , and I always thought skin cancer was easy cause they can just cut it out, but your best shot is getting it early.

I am not worried about biopsies, but worried that what would happen if I have something serious. It could save my life though still. I have a suspicious mole on my trunk, it doesn't grow soon or pain, but still I am scared.

If you don't mind me asking how did your biopsy turn out? I just found a weird looking mole on my chest that I hadn't noticed before. I went to the derm to get it checked and she found a second weird shaped mole on my back. I had a biopsy on both. Waiting for the results and I'm really nervous lol. Hope everything checked out well for you! I'll pray that it did!

I just came across this video today. I am happy your story was a positive one. I am currently waiting for my results. I had a mole on the side of my head. Unfortunately I waited 2 years before I did anything about it. The mole had gotten larger and became irregularly shaped. It also had began itching and developed a scab. My dermatologist had to do a punch removal. I will admit that I am very nervous. I shouldn't have waited so long to have it checked.

My name is Sunli gandhi, Dr. Harvey is the only herbal doctor who could Ever get my HIV cured with his herbal products. I have tried almost everything but I couldn’t find any Solution for the virus, despite all these happening to me, I always spend a lot of money to buy HIV drugs and other supplements to keep me healthy and taking several medications. Until one day I was just surfing through KZbin when I came across a great post from Anita, who said that she was diagnosed with HIV and was healed through the help of this great herbal supplements of Dr Harvey, Sometimes I really wonder why people call him the great Dr.Harvey, I never knew it was all because of the great and perfect work that he has been doing. So I quickly contacted him and told him everything happening to me, and he asked me a few questions and he said something I will never forget, that anyone who contacts him is always getting his/her cure within a few weeks after doing all he asks them to do. So I was amazed all the time I heard that from him, so I did everything he said only to see that at the very day which he said I will be cured and should go for a test to confirm my status, I went to hospital for the final test and the doctor after running the test said I'm HIV Negative wow. I'm very amazed and happy about this cure i have really gone through so much pain and tears for this Dr.Harvey cured me with the help of his natural herbs.If you have anybody going through this same Situation or any kind of cancers or diseases at all contact Dr Harvey today he cures them all save a life today. There are "green" bags made especially for storing produce in the fridge which extend the life of veggies and fruits. They're not expensive, can be washed and re-used. I don't know, though, where they're sold. QVC is where I bought mine so long ago I have none left - lol.

This is so important! Thanks for sharing your story. A lot of people associate Melanoma skin cancer being an older person's issue. This is becoming so prevalent in young people! Your story matters, and yes you're a survivor!! Never downplay your story!! Your video I know will save lives!! Catching this nasty cancer early is key!! I am 20 years past my melanoma diagnosis!! Very grateful for that, i have been very much blessed. Thanks for sharing your story!!

I am returning to work after staying home for a year. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to do it. Now it's time to get back to the grind! Looking for inspiration and I found it right here!! I like the brain dump list where you get everything out of your head and THEN sort it out. I find myself trying to make neat little lists and end up forgetting items. I am going to start doing a brain dump list! Also like the idea of pre-cooking/slicing items for the week!

was the biopsy painful?
@TiredMommyTales6 жыл бұрын
I don't think they are particularly painful. I've had both shave & punch biopsies and they numb the area beforehand. Depending on where the biopsy was it can be uncomfortable afterward if clothes rub on it or its an area that is touched a lot. For instance, I once had 3 at one time, including one on the top of my head and one on my side. The one on my side was worse because it was close to my bra line. I would 1000% take the discomfort after a biopsy over a melanoma diagnosis!!! Thanks for the question!

The Romaine stays pretty good on it's own for 2 weeks in that packaging. I also will wash, spin and tear (only cut if serving right away) and put with a paper towel in a zip lock bag. The spinach.....I can use almost half a big bag on our breakfast bake each week. Then I try to again, wash, spin and put in a zip lock with a paper towel for salad. The chicken sandwiches ARE good, though since we are low carb we don't buy them now. It is only the two of us and about once a week my daughter, her husband and my two granddaughters and we do about 75% of all grocery shopping at Costco. We used to drive 3 hours about once a quarter and spent about that much when our girls were growing up. Now it is about 2 blocks from our business so my husband likes to go over there and troll for items ending in 97 cents (their lowest price) and has gotten lots of good stuff for gifts, etc. We even buy 5 doz eggs occasionally, though more recently DH has bought the 2 packs of 2 dozen. We also get our all our prescription medications along with over-the-counter meds at Costco, vitamins, etc, soap, deodorant, everything you can think of!
@TiredMommyTales6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the romaine/spinach storage tips - I'm going to do that on our next haul! I also didn't know about the .97 tip - that's good to know!!! Sounds like y'all have got your Costco system down pat!!
