Great vid of the area and lightheartedly captures the unpredictability of bus travel. V nice hotel, weather and scenery so what's not to like?😊

I was made redundant last Sept after 9.5yrs with the company. But it was done rather unfairly as there was no proper redundancy process in place. Am still looking for jobs but things are tough everywhere atm 😢

i am working for a company for 22 years and the business is losing money and have sacked 10 people already and i believe i am next in line. The thought of losing my job in my 40s is terrifying. especially when you have bills and a mortgage to pay. Your insight has been very useful.

Very good insight/ I was also made redundant last year and am now finishing my redundancy term. My company uses competence based interview questions and they are an absolute a killer. You can have very good examples but if you don’t use the right words, you’re out. It’s not what you say, but how you say it. I had never used ChatGPT, but since English isn’t my first language, I had no other choice. I have very good examples but need to frame them well.

Great review but the paint splats worry me. Has experience stopped them?
@Hannorz Жыл бұрын
Hi thanks for your comment. In all honesty, I don't regularly use the airbrush set so can't say for sure but from watching other youtubers I'd say yes, the more you practice the less likely the paint splats will be. Thanks 😊
@neothespankplank58393 ай бұрын
not trying to be mean or anything but she clearly never used an airbrush before. Also, this airbrush seems to be pretty decent for its price range, but this one is not comparable to a professional airbrush of course - and cheap airbrushes tend to splatter some paints a bit more often because they don't atomize the liquids as well. However, in my experience of airbrushing miniatures for a pretty long while now, simply have some excess kitchen rags next to you and when you start spraying, start with just spraying air and point it at the rags. this will shoot any excess built up paint at the nozzle at the rags and now your airbrush should blow only air. Now just point it at the target and gradually increase the ink flow. Once you adapted to this you pretty much eliminate any chance for big splats to occur. Oh and also, please dont point it at already wet paint and fully depress air, it will push the paint around in big streaks and it will look terrible. Just spray in gentle little puffs, gives you much more control anyway and the paint layer dries sooo much faster!

@@neothespankplank5839 Update : i got the H&S Ultra 2 and a compressor with a tank (the common Chinesium one) and within an hour I was brushing professional quality. Perfect. Highly recommend it but I did watch lots of H&S and Vince Venturella videos first. "Buy once, cry once". You need higher pressures to make whites and yellows work.

I stumbled across this while looking for makeup after skin picking. Every day I wake up with new resolve and every night I regret. Mine is when I’m relaxing and I sort of don’t realise that I’m doing it or I justify it somehow. Anyway, it’s a lifelong thing, willpower is not an option. I think your amazing for being so honest, you described me to a tee. Can’t remember when I left the house without makeup. Even now CBT is not widespread or hugely effective, at least not to me. I think I need something to physically prevent he to break the habit. Using 100 products can make it worse. Back to basics! Because I notice when I see improvement of the damage I tend to hold back more because having decent skin is actually quite important to me. Thanks for bringing awareness to this issue you’re amazing!

How is the beach here (pebbles ? Sandy? And is the food decent ? Is it within reach of other areas primarily by walking or public transport .than the dress code for dinner ? Says smart dress
@Hannorz Жыл бұрын
Hi there! Thanks for your questions. The beach was a mixture between sand and pebbles really. It was quite sandy near our hotel but pebbley further down. The food was very nice but repetitive by the end of the holiday. There isn't much you can walk to but there is a bus stop outside the hotel. The dress code is quite smart but I don't think they would have an issue if you wore shorts and sandals. As long as you don't wear a bikini I think you will be fine haha 😊

I cannot believe your therapist didn’t know what it was! I’m still in my master’s becoming a therapist and we learn what it is and it is in the diagnostic manual we use. I have it so I already knew (and my therapist definitely knew what it was too) but I was glad to hear it being taught about.

I have OCD; I’ve picked the skin on my arms and face ever since I was very young, and it’s all scarred and scabby. I’ve never dared to wear short sleeves because it looks like an ugly rash all over my arms. It’s really hard trying to stop; I can relate to so much of what you said.
