This is one chivda I had forgotten about till I came across your video. My mum use to make it especially for Ekadashi fasting. I once tried popping the amaranth seeds and they got burnt. I know my mistake now, I added too much of it to the pan. A healthy and delicious snack to enjoy during fasting days.

Yeah it happens, I too recollect some recipes and realize oh I have not cooked that. The first batch at times burn, when I did first time, for me too the same thing happened, half I had to discard. But now I know how to.

Growing up we had a huge garden. My grandfather grew so many fruits and vegetables. And tomatoes were plenty. My mum would make green tomato sabji especially to go with khichdi kadhi. Your recipe has brought back so many memories. Haven't had green tomato sabji in a long time.
