It's wild that the company gave all 1,500 workers a paid week off, looked at their union contracts and determined what severance packages they'd need to pay out, and still determined that the plant isn't going to be profitable in the future. And this is in addition to multiple sales and property tax incentives they've had and a $129 million investment in the plant that was done 2-3 years ago.

We also got severance packages that were arranged well ahead of time so we didnt have a gap in income. All because we had a union that wouldnt let the company cut and run on us like Sumotomo did.
