It was definitely a nice and relaxing spot to escape from the busy city life! I found this on the iOverlander app. I just checked it now and it looks like it’s been removed from the app 😔

If you're in Ontario, I recommend taking a look at the Ontario Crown Land Use Atlas (it's free but may be a little confusing and overwhelming to some but once you understand how to use it, you may find more gems that aren't listed on apps like iOverlander). I also recommend checking out the Ontario Backroad Mapbook (not free). There are several editions to choose from based on the areas you would like to explore. I hope that helps! One of my favourite places. I like to sit in my car in the parking lot, gaze out over the water towards Michipicoten Island and play Gordon Lightfoot's Edmund Fitzgerald on my car audio system.

I have been here 2x once with a gf and another when my Sons came to visit. I was living in Tacoma WA at that time. Beautiful grounds, and to think they made the sunken garden from an old dump site
