This is how we treat animals until we are faced with what they go through.

Lot of people disagree with me, when i said that humans are born "bad", not "good". Since children, humans are egoistic, do anything that would benefit them, or make them happy, regardless what others feel/think. Children lie, eventhough noone ever taught them, or show them. Only when we grew up, we learned, or being educated, about how to be "good". Some may succeed, some grew even more bad than they were as children. But after all of that, the core of human is still, "bad". That's why, when there's certain situation, and we let our guard down, we revert to our core value, which is being "bad". Think about it, why there's a saying "he/she is only a kid", when a child do something bad? Isn't it because society get used to child being bad? Then why people disagree when i say human is born "bad"? What's the point of this anyway? You might asked. It is to point out, that legitimating every children "feeling" is not always good. While creativity and self-confidence is imporant, the reality is that society needs people that have high degree of self control, even in bad situation, or in situation of power. And eventhough i don't promote certain religion or about the religion itself, we must acknowledge that "most case", religion does help to be second layer of control, by scaring them to do some bad things, when the first layer of control (yourself) is breaking down. So it might be a good idea to make your kids learn religion(s), regardless of your/their belief about afterlife.

This woman is just beautiful inside out it really hurts just to listen to it. I just wanna hug her and cuddle her. Tell her she is okay and safe and anybody would not hurt her ever againor even more I just want to give her an opportunity to decide for herself what she wants and allows. Absolutely heartbreaking. I just want to vomit of society.

We need a limit. All we have aggressive instincts. This can not be told to be good or bad. Sometimes we need that. In a society and rules, this aggressive instincts should be controlled.

I cannot believe there werent at least a few people there that decided to protect you. I dont care if I die, i would 100% of the time protect someone or something that is completely helpless to defend themselves. I would really hope that things would be different now but they probabaly arent. The few of us that believe in moral expectations are shadowed by the pyschopathic, narcissistic, non caring public at large. Its hard to stand up to this corruption but it is something i do and always will do. This is such an important piece of not just art, but science as well. Thank you for doing that.

If I am there, I will remove everything that can turn into a weapon, and confiscate those stuffs ( and leave my number with your crew ) until you are done and call me and ask for them. Because I believe that however corrupted many human hearts may have become, there are always Angels among us. Kind and Merciful hearts. Protectors. Guardians of fellow humans.

I remember when I was in middle school. There was a group of older students standing in a circle around a stray puppy at lunch recess. They were kicking it, scaring it, laughing at it. I barreled through them, falling to the ground to protect the puppy with my own body, screaming at them to stop. They laughed and teased me before finally walking away, telling me how I ruined their fun. I gave the puppy my lunch and comforted her the best I could. I would have done the same with this sweet angel, I wish I could have been there to protect her from those monsters.

fine, I'll be that guy. it makes me think of celebrity and hollywood culture, and the way performers of all kinds are reduced to objects. not just by possessive, entitled fans and critics- but by predatory reporters, agents, managers and companies. performers have been straight up murdered for not replying to letters or creepy comments, or not acknowledging one sided attachments that strangers develop based on their public persona. lots of people say they deserve it too! as if assaulting and killing someone is just a normal and acceptable method of art critique. as if making bad art or wanting personal space or saying no are hate crimes

This course makes people face body-hatred and deepest fears… I am not surprised that some of the people commenting believe this course is evil. People will create all kinds of wild stories to make sense of what they are most afraid of. Fortunately stories and people can change over time and people can free themselves of mistaken fairytales about demons, so that maybe they can learn to recognize real hate and how any one of us can perpetuate hate unwittingly. Thanks Marina and to all the artist activists who do this important healing and liberational work🧡

Wonderful film… it gives me a clear understanding of the course. And I am so glad she opened up the course to people who are not self identified as artists. And the comments about Demons and witchcraft from the middle ages, really exemplifies how the incredible trauma that occurred during those centuries of torture, misogyny, murder, and the near extermination of the art and science of midwifery is far from being healed. Besides stories about demons, it shows the trauma is in the fear and hatred of the body.

Marina Abramovic was raped no matter what people can say some people touched her on her intimity, even if it's the message exist, that can't excuse nothing, it's not consented, because no, she wasn't an object but a human being, with feelings and emotions, so nobody would have hurted her or made some abusives gestures on her body, it's not normal, not acceptable, she was a victim, because normally, everyone would have took the defense of her integrity, but it's not what it happened unfortunaly !!!

I saw a biography of her and her performance art on TV (streamed) a few months ago. Abramovic really pushes herself and suffers through these "experiments, performances". She knows what she is doing and is willing to go through with whatever happens. One of the most touching, beautiful experiments was Abramovic sitting in a chair and having people sit in another chair across from her and just staring into each others eyes. It was very powerful. Many people ended up crying with her, many hugged her though touching was supposed to be off limits. I know for sure I could not have hurt her in the Rhythm 0 performance. I am not a cruel person by nature and hate to see people abused or suffer, especially those who are vulnerable and cannot defend themselves - animals, elderly people and children fall into this category. Granted there are some people who deserve it because they are cruel and abusive themselves I've even let people hit me or hurt me but then showed them quite readily I could have crushed them if I wanted to, some people need to learn who they are messing with.
