In Fallout Two, you can find someone who keeps a Deathclaw in a chicken coop to make omelets, and much later on you can meet a small tribe of intelligent talking ones. You can even have a Deathclaw by the name of Goris join your party. (admittedly - by that point DCs are kind of underpowered compared to many threats) Of course, there are enclave animal handlers who have studied using them as weapons as well. So having one as a pet is not quite as unreasonable as you might think.

I wouldn't mind if the next game was also set in Appalachia, it would be fun seeing the result of everything from 76 200 years later. and 2 centuries is a long ass time so events that seemingly overlap in terms of future content wouldn't necessarily have to be non-canon. You have a game that presents the theoretical endpoint that documents the history yet to be told in another game.

Oh no.... Charlie will definitely find a way to ruin Radking's important sermons as a Child of Atom. And Radking will definitely spend weeks just trying to figure out Frank and Charlie's backstory and how it affects the Wasteland across the Fallout franchise because I'm willing to bet even their origins are from Fallout NV, they've been through the Capital Wasteland so they have some effect on the story of Fallout 3, venture into the Commonwealth from time to time indicating they are in Fallout 4 and live in Appalachia so definitely present in Fallout 76. If they're aware of the events of Fallout 2 and the rise of the NCR as well as the destruction of the Enclave in San Francisco I wouldn't be surprised.
