Just watched a video where they fixed an issue with a loose bicep swivel by adding layers of super glue to thicken the peg. After that, they knocked back the thickness with sand paper to get the right fit. Might be worth a try

Thank you for the video. Nice figure, but they should improve their quality control. Acid Rain figures are not the cheapest ones.

Agree, actually the right arm popping out was not even fixable. Something is preventing from sliding the arm into the socket all the way in. I think its the should pad piece and if you remove it the figure looks weird, arms are too skinny.

@4thecollectors ye keep looking. This was out already a couple of years ago and hiya items are somehow limited in production. These are mostly collectible items.

Sorry about that. I have a few Aliens figures and one yes the fee joint broke. But I have Injustice (several), Robocop (several) and now GI Joe and didnt have issues with breaking joints.

That is the size of a german shepherd, not sure what your thinking i have 3 and same size to me as my dogs to this figure and dog unless you have a king shepherd those are much bigger

Thanks. I like the figures. I didn't get Cain or ED209. Kinda regret the last one but I have to make priorities. I ended up fixing the neck pin. Made and 3d printed a few. It's look better now totally recommend the mod.

I ended up repainting the black ones, the parts they messed up. Happy with the 2 I have now. I only wish I could make a 3d model of the right hand in robotic form. Never liked the concept of the human hand. My Jada Robocops had their hands swapped.

LOL its a world full of acid rain. even the moon is contaminated. hence the weathering. They live in that world and their clothes look like crap and all weathered because of the Acid Rain.

They are not German shepherds, they are Belgium mallinois, they kinda look like German shepherds but smaller so I think is the right size for them

The dogs on the box art are German Shepherd. I believe the paint job on the figures do not do it justice.. Belgian Malinois do not have a coat as thick as German Shepherds.

Battle for the Stars had some comics. I think these are from the same line but I don't think they were there. Some releases of sets in China came with comics. But these are totally created by JoyToy there is no anime or cartoons behind it.

I passed on Lynx a few weeks ago, but now I'm seeing uses for the figure. Now I'll probably never see it again. Paradigm is pretty cool looking.

Ye Lynx has a lot of potencial even for other figures. Paradigm is also cool but the head is a bit off in my opinion. Too small and not very game accurate. There are 3D models of her, i will try to find a head to print. But probably have to smooth the model, normally those models are not ready for 3D printing.

Hi from Australia ! A solid detailed review, thanks. I received my Maintenance Mech last week. It's a great Mech with VERY good articulation. MY right elbow joint was also tight/stuck, but I NEVER force a joint, so I unplugged the entire elbow joint & put it in hot water then CAREFULLY worked it loose. NB: for ANY figure, NEVER force a joint if it's stuck, just use heat or a VERY thin blade to break the "paint stick" - otherwise you'll be very sad with regret AFTER you snap a joint ! Other than that, it's a brilliant Mech, and because of the colour and shoulders arms I like it more than my other 1/18th JoyToy Commando & Firehammer North Mechs !
