Hey dip shit you do realize that not all Dystopian settings are set in the future. They are just most commonly set in the future. Because then the writers of that show have more creative freedom to work with. correlation does not equal causation.

@@RexEtAstra Maybe it's just my choice in AMV's but most of what I watch has fairly dramatic songs in terms of sound, melody and such. So you see periods of slow scenes where not much going on then jumping into action packed scenes or dramatic scenes when the song kicks up. With this song choice there's no "bass drops" or "chorus begins" or heavy/deep impact of the song (at least in my interpretation). And then that ofc affects editing / scene selection and such as you make the AMV to this song.
