How come straight pool is not as popular as 8 or 9 ball? Looks like fun.

1:19:42 Shaw uses the rest right handed. I've seen a few lefties Trump being another one that shoots left but use a bridge right handed. I also do the same, shoot left and use the rest righty. I don't know any right handers that use the rest lefty.

He missed that ball at 8:40, that's a lack of integrity. Edit. I watched it again and the ball wiggled. Im glad because i always liked lukas.

Rudolf Walter Wanderon full name-- new york fats Then after The Hustler movie he became Minnesota Fats! I think the movie WAS based off his New York Fats persona! He was famous pool shooter in New York at the time.

Crazy how I "knew" this about energy but could only marginally take advantage of it but now the way Jerry just explained it, I bet I'll be 50% better before even practicing

He clearly moved the ball and, if this is a money game, then Shane is in the right to call him on it. Johnny should not have conceited… I think that disrespectful towards his opponent and to the game in general.

The 7? These are reds and yellows, looks like UK pool balls. Notice he's using a snoooker style cue as well.

I know I have seen this before but I just caught this “ flub” (?). When the guy selling the t-shirt says about the girl modeling, “The one and only Allison Fisher “. Well, he certainly sounds old enough and knows pool enough, to know that THE Allison Fisher was probably the best known woman pool player on the Planet. Sorry Jeanette Lee, know that you are right up there as the “Black Widow “, but with all the televised WPBA tournaments and Allison winning the biggest percentage , did seem to make her the most well known. But I am older and the names like Lorree John Jones ,Jean Balukis,Ewa Mataya, Robin Bell, many more, stick out in my mind just as big. Sorry for any misspelling, and I know the names change on some. But “Loved” you all. I was fortunate to have attended more than a dozen of the WPBA tournaments all over the country. Oh yes, can’t leave out The, Karen Corr. Being Irish ☘️ myself, I should have put the “Irish Invader” at the top of the list. She was certainly working her way up there. Of course coming up slightly later was another snooker transplant ,Kelly Fisher.Whom still is around the top place in most ladies professional tournaments. Sorry, didn’t intend to go on like this,just I always loved the ladies.

Fats as an entertainer, singing, can you imagine, remembering that, knowing later in life that you he was Minnesota fats, not Ralph W?
@PalidicoVermingagurania4 ай бұрын
When fats says, he learned everything from imbeciles and smart people, it reminded me when Efren said that he learned shots from people who really couldn’t play pool because they would make shots that were terrific without really knowing it, or even know how they made it, and Efren would figureout how the shot was made
