Wow, great video. It was always a special treat to visit (1980s-2005) Nuccio’s Nursery and buy plants (load up the truck) for our local college research garden. Jim & Tom were always so knowledgeable, kind, witty, and generous with their time. Enjoy your retirement guys! “Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower.” - Hans Christian Andersen

Sad to hear the report today that the nursery had some major fire damage due to the Eaton fire. So sorry for what has happened to the great community of Altadena.

I’ve just purchased 2 different varieties of Nuccios’s in the last 6 months: a red Bella Rossa and a white Nuccios Gem. Wanted to make sure I could still get them. So glad I did, they’re just beautiful!

If you know not the sex of the juvenile I would say "it's". If you know the sex I would say his or hers.

Except, no punctuation on S, for possessive. Your suggestion means, "It is".

Does anyone know the deal with these guys? They always fly up far to close for comfort and just follow you around until you leave their lake. It's weird.

I'm so glad to know I can order camelias plants from a California grower. I've been under the impression that camelias are an east coast plant. So happy I know better now.

Nuccio's Nursery is the gold standard in camelias and azaleas. When searching online for C. Sinensis, I was thrilled to find not just a nursery, but an authority in camelia culture to be nearby. Had no problem making the 3 hour round trip journey to hand pick my plants and pick their brains on how to raise them. Beautiful nursery, beautiful plants and extensive selection, very reasonable prices as well. Check them out if you're in the area.

@@BrandonSlavinski No problem. I would be so so happy with that video if it had more azalea. Maybe next year. Very good production quality! Also nice to see them together and talk. But a bit sad to hear that they have no successors.

Brandon I enjoyed your video as well. Something that could be helpful would be to label the plant as their going so we can write the name down of their recommendations. For a follow up I keep reading and hearing people say some Camilla’s are fragrant. If this is true I would love yo see a video about them! I hope they don’t retire anytime soon. They are wonderful at what they do!
