I think the house looks a bit cold and sterile. You need not just color but texture but I think you need to be careful going from stark white to chocolate brown. I think you might consider warming the walls with a color in like a hot-cocoa color - picture adding a bit more milk than chocolate syrup and you’ll have a warmer, softer feel. You could then add something in the neutral color to your dining table as a center piece (black would also be too stark). Then, if you want to do a darker curtain it would blend not stand out as yet something else stark. The same is true for the sofa. You need something in between the white and brown and you need texture.

Kam needs to propose in February, and they should get married in June of 2025, and then get pregnant on the honeymoon. Spend the money and hire a wedding planner to get it done. In 2025, less and tasteful is more with regards to weddings. Afterwards, do the renovations as a married couple.
