I know Lolipop man has been making the Mothership Connection since the 70s. Rumors of coverups about him actually making the connection for centuries. Jokes aside, you've got cool stuff on your channel.

There were excellent sci-fi movies made in the fifties which are a thousand times better than this absurd crap made over ten years later.

Why do so many sf screen writers confuse "universe" with "solar system"?

I was 13 when this movie came out. TV shows I watched were Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Star Trek, The Time Tunnel, The Wild Wild West, The Outer Limits, The Man From UNCLE, Sea Hunt, etc.... I loved the Dymo Tape on all the switches, I bet it was red.

It's the year 2000 and we still haven't managed to land humans on the moon or successfully probe planets like Mars? The makers of this film thought we were incompetent losers I love how the military is depicted as being in control of the space program and not NASA scientists. Maybe that's why they're still trying for first success in 2000

Hmm...we came across a disabled alien vessel. We boarded it, killed the crewmember, and destroyed their ship. They should have named this movie Space Pirates. Also kudos for fitting a bikini beach shot into a Sci Fi flick. Would be nice to see this as the subject of a Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode.

Ok.. "Over two billion light years of solar system... the vast millions of miles of universe" So not exactly Carl Sagan, got it. Better strap myself in, this is going to be a rough ride. Review. One of the films I've ever seen... So they fly to a universe beyond Earths gravity in their USA America space rocket ship. Btw. If there are any swell dames reading this review I don't think you should using a computer without a man present, just saying. Oh, and that outfit you're filling out makes me want to kiss you randomly without consent but hey, no need to get all "woman's equality" about it. So anyway, they kill the alien with guns that you always carry on spaceships, land on a potato at the bottom of the sea and it turns out that lovely lady women are sexy AND scientists (cue romantic music) and I'll take you out to dinner when we get home. Best film ever made. 1/10 Oh shit I forgot the crabs.

Wtf, you broke into an alien ship without an invitation, then shot the creature when you're confronted. How is that different from a home invasion?

American International almost always rehashed the same old actors in the same old movies, if it says American International, most aren't worth watching. The 50's and 60's had great Sci Fi Flicks, bit these NOT.

I’d like to know who kept the change from the hundred bucks they allotted for special effects. And who goes on a journey to space carrying stuff like rolls of wire and scuba gear? And how did this emotionally unsettled crew end up together at all? Didn’t anyone vet these people? Inane dialogue, ludicrous science, cheesy effects and corny romance angle. 4.5 stars!

I think this was first published as a romance novel. The special effects weren't nearly as good as the sets. However, the rotating compartments were perfect for the camera man.
