Damn I miss blowing!!! I used to use 12m rods to wrap over 1in heavy wall tubes for a double layer of color with fume. this brought me back! love the coil technique btw!!

Can you make more tutorials on making colored tubing prep? I’m a new glass artist aswell and I have no idea how to make fun prep. Like when you took the thick rod and added the 2 lines of black to it and then coildpotted that into a fun blank! I’d love some more tutorials on making fun tubing/blanks :) thanks!

Is fuming literally just off gas from the rod? Im confused on that. Just started myself a month or two ago and there just so much to learn 😅

When you introduce fine silver to a neutral/reducing flame it vaporizes/boils and the vapor/fumes stick to the glass!
