No males in rape center crisis centers. Shame on Scotland politicians.

"Women who seek female only spaces to recover (from rape) are bigoted people with unacceptable beliefs who should expect to be challenged on their prejudices and told to reframe their trauma" - Mridhul Wadhwa, 2021, CEO of Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre and uncertified transwoman. The logical end point of gender self ID. Even rape victims are victimised and gaslighted by a rape crisis centre. Blows the mind.

Scraping jury trial for rape cases It’ll actually lead of more acquittals if a judge is told by the defendant evidence of innocence was on the complainants mobile phone but we weren’t allowed to access it to prove innocence the judge will throw the case out of court rather than a jury who still may feel it’s circumstantial there’d more alleged evidence elsewhere

Why is running away not mentioned?
@AbhishekTiwari-ns3hq4 жыл бұрын
I guess because you fight back first to get rid of someone else's control before you actually run away. So, that's the main point here. Just like what you see in movies or hear stories in real life that someone froze when they saw the vehicle approaching and they had an accident.
@AbhishekTiwari-ns3hq4 жыл бұрын
@@kirkclarke7396 People say that when you are trapped in an adverse situation, your brain signals you for fight or flight but they miss saying that the brain sometimes doesn't even send you the signal. It freezes. I don't know how old are you or if you have ever been tricked by someone. I was tricked (of money) by someone few years back and I didn't share it to anyone because I was ashamed of it. When it happened, it was so quick that I didn't even realise what went wrong. I was dumbstruck for few moments. I asked the guy for the money, he denied and I didn't say another word and walked away (to the interview venue) because I never thought I would get into such situation. Moreover, I didn't know how to fight back. I thought I was prepared for when and if it happens to me next time, but when your mind goes in shock, every planning fails, I couldn't do it second time as well. Similar incident happened with two of my friends in another country and it was not easy for them to talk about it. So, you see... getting mugged or being tricked is so much more common as compared to rape, still we are so uncomfortable when it happens or after that to talk about it. You cannot even imagine the mental state of someone being raped or even weeks, months or years after the incident, it could be million times worse than being mugged/tricked. I do not know what experiences you had in your life and what you know of such cases. It appears to me that your opinions are prejudiced and you want to classify every such act under one category which I think it would be injustice to those women/men who actually go through such horrible act. You are not wrong when you say that women (I'd call them sick) sometimes falsely accuse men to gain something which again is kind of a blot on the face of the society because it hinders the delivery of the justice who deserve it. I would sincerely request you to read more about what's being told in the video. In the end, you are entitled to have your opinion but being a responsible citizen of the society we must base it on facts. MAYBE few years ago I would have replied to your comment but things change, when you see more of the world of what it is, you help people understand and see things from different perspective.

@@kirkclarke7396 it's not as black and white as you think it is. Don't say these things, you have no idea what rape victims have gone through. The fight or flight response is very real, not everyone fights back.

Ok let me just say that I have a little bit of an issue on this whole concept of "victim blaming" First of all yes I agree that if a crime is committed against someone, then the blame should be placed solely on the criminal and not the victim. I also agree that everyone should be taught right from wrong and not to commit crimes against people (not that that always works, our prisons are full of people who were taught not to commit crimes, but they still went and did them anyway, and some of them are still walking the streets) but I don't see what's wrong with ALSO teaching people to be cautious,careful,and vigilant and giving them ways to protect and defend themselves and the people they care about so they can decrease their chances of BECOMING a victim!
@nikiprysock28728 жыл бұрын
+Tony Seyffer So are you saying that a way of staying safe is by not wearing that skirt? Because this isn't a self-defense ad it's an ad about what a woman wears should have no impact on whether she is raped and on whether she is blamed for it.
@monsterMettle8 жыл бұрын
The fact is, women are taught from an early age that the responsibility is solely on them. Believe me, they are taught to be cautious, careful, vigilant, etc. basically from birth, and as a result, they go through the world very differently from men (ie., always at least somewhat afraid of being hurt or attacked). But then, when they are the victims of sexual violence, everyone says they weren't careful ENOUGH. Yes, the world insists that women should be careful, and is only now just beginning to suggest that men should take full responsibility (meanwhile, many disagree, which breaks my heart). I would also add, that, yes, maybe ALL people should be taught not to walk dark alleys at night, because this could be dangerous to ANYWAY - but teaching women not to wear short skirts to avoid being raped truly makes no sense. Men should be taught to respect all bodies.

Dont think this is the best ad in the world really. No they do not ask to be raped, but its like locking the doors of your car. You dont leave your car unlocked and tell the robbers "I wasnt asking to have my car stolen". No, you werent but its about risk prevention and if you refuse to take precautions you are viable to risk. If you choose to ignore those risks, you are at fault as well. I am in no way condoning rape or the actions of rapists but i am just saying, if you car gets stolen when you choose to not lock it knowing it can be stolen, don't get too upset because you can easily lower those risks by locking your car.

Nobody asks to be raped. Maybe the woman, I don't know, just lost some weight and was really proud of herself so she wore Add that showed her body to celebrate. That happens a lot. Women will sweet what they want to wear, it doesn't mean they want to be raped, it doesn't even mean they want to have sex.

victim blaming is just awful, you should be able to walk around at any time of day/night in whatever clothes you want to wear, it is your body, nobody has the right to touch you without your consent. stop teaching 'don't get raped' and start teaching 'don't rape' not that men should need reminding that rape is disgusting anyway..

How about you realize that there is no need for humans to wear clothes besides when they are cold. Therefore when you say you wear it for yourself(no shit) I understand and see that. The reason why you wear what you wear? To express the social group you belong to and so on. Once you go to the gym and squat, I suppose you do it for yourself but have you woundered why?. To be more likeable. I understand it's not your fault that hypocracy is socially acceptable in our society, but at least be aware of it.
