This is the best performance I've seen of this song. I felt choked up listening to it. (almost as great as the original ;-) )

My chorus did this piece as part of Video Games Live with a professional symphony orchestra, and we didn't do it with half the heart of these kids. Fantastic work, all! Bravissimi!

Very nice sound. Although the band over-powered a bit, but what was heard it was wonderful.

Excellent performance, but I'm not so sure about the brass.
@NWRIBronco614 жыл бұрын
The band overpowers the vocals. Good rendition though. The lead is pretty impressive, especially considering how powerful a role it is in the actual song.

Tis a beautiful song, and all the more breathtaking when you can actually see it being performed - even if I'm not much for it's religious content, it's still the kind of music that can talk directly to the soul and bring forth such miraculous emotions.

you guys did SUCH a great job, I LOVED this version of Mary Did You Know. I co-direct a choir at ST Joseph The Worker in Canoga Park and we are going to do Mary Did You Know 4 our Christmas concert VERY similar to this jazzy version cos we r a contemporary choir. Gr8 job, keep singing and sharing your talents. GeorGie

Thanks for your comment but with all due respect, you do not know what you are talking about. It is a song that was composed by an American Composer that is sung in Swahili. The song was arranged in consultation with the composer. There is no "right" way to sing it or perform it. Its a high school choir for goodnes sake. Give them credit for singing a magnificent song that people from around the world love to hear! Read the other comments.

I did this exact version at my camp this year. We had about six hours to do it, spread over 3 days. We couldn't finish it. It was sooo hard. So I can really appreciate this. They're amazing. We just did the first half.
