If you dont recognise the Hayes now, wait till you get to St Mary's Street, and High Street. Its so bad now, no shops, litter everywhere, homeless people. So sad to see it

Awesome work! I can’t imagine how much effort it was to piece each instrument track
@Dovoro.2 ай бұрын
Thanks for this comment! Actually, each track started at exactly the right / same synchronised point, so it was mostly a case of dropping them into place one on top of the other. The tricky bit was trying to add the appropriate level of reverb to each track, to get it the closest sounding to the original. The missing tracks (hi-hat and tom-toms) were a frustration, so it was a bit fiddly copying in the toms from the original song. It doesn’t quite sound right but it’s close enough.

False. You just removed the vocals.
@Dovoro.3 ай бұрын
I tried for many years to find software that would remove the vocals and leave the backing track intact. The original song doesn’t make that possible. This version is one I edited by assembling one instrument track at a time (each track originally recorded by PSB). You’ll notice that I have uploaded other versions to my channel where I’ve used different combinations of the individual tracks, demonstrating what each sounds like when isolated and mixed with 3-4 other instruments only. Thanks for your comment 👍🏼

This music would play in my head, when me and my brother would hear the car backing into the drive way, where we had to tidy up the living room as quickly as we could, this would also involve unplugging the video game console (as it was not meant for the living room TV, it was forbidden).

I always wanted to know what sits in Toys R Us's place now. John Lewis. Nice trip down memory lane of childhood. What saddened me was how much better congestion was back then. Everyone moving more freely.

I think the thing the new Quantum Leap and other new shoes seemingly fail at is the music. None of the new shows have soundtracks that provide that extra dimension required to make a show addicting.

I grew up with this show and loved it! I even dreamed of one day being a contestant on the show (mind, however, that I was a young girl living on an American Air Force base in Japan). And this made me realize something. If a crystal is worth 5 seconds in the dome, then if the contestants had a perfect run through the crystal maze, they would have had 11 crystals. (The most I ever saw in an episode was 9; would have been 10, but one contestant accidentally dropped one in an automatic lock-in cell.)
