Che bella performance ... Mi dà l'idea che sia proprio su pianoforte che Massenet abbia improvvisata questa Aria, straordinaria anche nella più conosciuta forma poi '"rubata" dai violinisti ... Ma è tanto bella e assolutamente empatica rappresentazione, davvero aderente in musica, di una meditazione sulla propria vita, l'abbandono del vizio, se vizio era quello della bellissima Thaïs, e l'inevitabile abbraccio al divino in noi e sopra di noi ...

Un très grand bravo.... pour votre interprétation magistrale de cette œuvre magnifique. Je viens de la terminer également mais je n'ai pas la même version. Beaucoup d'émotion à chaque mesure et parfois une larme qui glisse doucement sur la joue....

Is the piano a Steinway? How many years old? Tuned in equal temperament? It seems tuned a bit unequal, like Young or so

The way Sebastian plays this piece is a prayer in itself. I always turn on this rendition whenever I listen to John 14, 15, and Psalm 23. The music, masterfully played, complements the depth and intensity of God's word, and Psalm 23's great confidence in God is further expounded by the lingering pathos of this beautiful piano interpretation.
