For me at this point in my life, this poem along with its reading speaks to me more than any poem has. For me, not a poetry fan generally, the music helps me absorb the emotion. So glad I discovered this.

Just discovered Almaas, incredibly succinct description of what I've seen but couldn't conceptualize. Especially mindblowing is his description of the enlightenment drive which seeks to confirm true nature which is the same drive that is confused by the false, narcissistic self into always needing mirroring and confirmation of its existence. Why isn't this more widely understood??????

Because this kind of teaching is quite inconceivable for most. Even the psychology branches have not taken notice of this yet, except for a very very few perhaps.
