Having owned or own all three, the Springfield was the most fun to shoot, but it had feeding issues, the Ruger is ok, but the Colt is nearly flawless in all aspects. The Colt is a series 80, if that matters

Loading mags by hand (especially handguns) can get painful after while for those who don't do it a lot, or those with less physical strength like the elderly. Products like this solve that problem, but also help do it much faster as well. After all, "Speedloader" sells better than "Arthritis Magazine Assistance Tool."

The problem with 1911’s is that statically zero people edc one. So they are a novelty gun. Safe queens. This doesn’t mean that they’re unpopular or have no place in a gun collection. Asking which one is best is like asking which kind of whisky is best. We all have our own personal preference but that doesn’t make it the best.

That is far from true about EDC. And it doesn't matter... Out of the three, which is the best? Pretty simple question.

@@riegsgunshop I don’t know everybody that carries an edc gun but off the several that I do know, not one of them carries a 1911. I would go as far to say that for every one 1911 carried there are probably 80 non 1911s carried.

Colt then Springfield and I’m saying that as shooting both and I ended up with a colt as my first 1911 and it’s fucking immaculate I also got a good deal on mine brand new which is rare knowing they’re pretty pricey for most but looking at getting a Springfield
