Can I bolt the edge flex on a old HLA 3500 that currently has a straight steel cutting edge? And if so how much would it cost?
@HorstAttachments22 күн бұрын
Hey Quinton, it depends on the year of the blade but, Yes it can be retro fitted. Price depends on a few variables such as location etc. Contact your closest dealer and they can better guide you.

Though a great idea I do think there is always going ti be a bit of net land in the feed wagon getting chopped up and then being fed out to the stock. Maybe why so many similar devices are being sold second hand with the statement “ done very little work!”

2 years ago I purchased the 1500 with back drag and rubber cutting Edge. Gave my son the snow blower. Sold the lawn tractor with the Johnny bucket plow , and never looked back. The neighbors started making me cookies and cakes every time it snows. Lol makes winter fun. Great product .

Messiest plow I’ve ever used! The thing leaves to many coke lines everywhere especially with powder snow for our customers to be happy. If they could improve the dribble between the moldboard and the wings I’d buy 10 of them. Heavy build!
@jamesnm214 жыл бұрын
I noticed they need to fix that. I'm sure if you give it some thought you could devise a simple fix, such as a spacer or rubber flap to eliminate the leakage while still allowing the wings to operate as designed. I'd call them and report the problem so they can get it figured out.

i used to run an HLA snow wing , 16 ft with spill guard grill . I matched it to a doosan dl 200 -3 loader . Awesome , the town i worked for used to run a volvo grader which would take 16 hours plus to clear the town . once i convinced them to go with the doosan and snow wing clearing town was down to 7-8 hours . And i could put the snow just where i wanted it , not where the machine would put it . the other benefit was that of course the loader was free the rest of the year to do other work . i could even use the snow wing to grade gravel/stone roads

ours a different hook up its like a alo quakie loader adapter wich ours runs off a case 340 24foot hla blade but its a 100% best blade on the market and we been using it to bull doze the ground up,leveling and grading parking lots and roads and drivewayswich our 24 foot HLA blade with wings is the best multipurpose blade and cheaper then us spending $280,000 on a track bull dozers :)

Is having the backhoe on really necessary, in order to use it? My buddy had one, and only had to use either his weight box imatch, or his rear back snow blade? I think the backhoe is a little extreme myself, when my buddy’s did just fine with his method. I mean... Your pushing snow, not lifting 10k pounds of concrete here. I’ve used my 2016 1025r with just my loader, bucket and 4x4 to do my driveway and it worked awesome. I was lifting full bucket loads of all types of snow too. I don’t raise it to the max either, bc I’m not stupid. I do love the back blading option on the pusher tho. How much to add that option? Don’t have to be all secretive like others either, bc I can just make a call or send out an email.
@andysworld21885 жыл бұрын
It's not about lifting but pushing. Mass is your friend when you are plowing snow. Some types of snow are quit heavy and that weight adds up quickly if you use a plow or snow pusher. So the more weightyou have on the tractor, the more weight you can push. BH77 back hoe adds 800 or 900 pounds to the tractor and the weight is added to the rear axle and rear tires giving you maximum traction .
