The level of complexity and logistics that these big-budget movies employ are simply staggering! Days, sometimes even weeks of work on a particular set, just to be filmed in a matter of few seconds! Loved the shot of the two masters Golblum and Spielberg joyfully sparring ideas for the flick. Now, even though the script isn't as anthologic as the first one, The Lost World has always been one of my absolute favorite films growing up. I pick this one over JP3 any day of the week!

Best animatronics of all time; including the one from the first movie. The designs of these dinosaurs really make them look like regular animals you'd see in a safari that act upon instinct. I wonder... do y'all think they learned from their mistake in the first animatronic where they used foam latex for the skin? This scene had a ton of rain in it too. I would love to see some behind the scenes footage about the development of the animatronics in TLW, especially these rexes. ❤

~comparison//assessment~ the way denee acts natasha is so raw and innocent. i can’t help myself from smiling with her and not even realizing she’s got me like that until half way through the song. you feel her heartbreak WITH her. phillipa also plays natasha incredibly. she has a sense of maturity and tragedy in her love for andre. like she knows something isn’t right and is convincing herself/reminding herself of the feeling she had when she first fell in love with him. both interpretations beautiful and both make me so thankful for ART and for actors doing different things and what feels right to them. I LOVE THIS SHOW

The Rexes look like if they were tired of doing overtime and wanted to speak with the producers.

Still the best animatronics in the franchise, IMO.
