I just love how ludic he was at the time. The music, the voice, all the facial expressions and hand's movements made everything so magical. He really took his audience to a happy land.

Ooooohhh, so that's how they got the name "King for A Day". I know it's other meaning that "Oh, he was popular one day, and the next thing he knew, he wasn't." But I felt like there had to be more than that. Good to know!

Mary Lou and King For a Day were both popular songs of the 1920s. 1926 and 1928 respectively.

Made before 1967 that's for sure, since he lost that Favilla ukulele in late 67.

Thanks very much for this upload. Although this is the first time I’ve seen him play the ukulele right handed-unless the video was flipped the opposite direction-I’ve seen videos of Tiny Tim playing other instruments right handed. I read in the book about him (Eternal Troubadour), that he started playing left handed for physical reasons but off hand, I don’t remember the exact reason. Tiny was very talented as a musician, singer, and entertainer. To me, his name is synonymous with the word icon.

I believe he claimed to experience headaches on the right side of his head, so he began to play left handed in order to...alleviate pressure, or something.

Before I realised I had my own play/pantomime I read Marcel Proust Penguin edition. Within a budding grove renamed in the shadow of young girls in flower. That year my politics class was all girls except i think 2 boys including among the girls a very bright and vivacious and pretty I later realised tiny Tim lookalike so much so I wondered if her dad was still alive and after me for giving daughter psychological complexes. Now in shadow of young girl who has outlasted them all, upstairs neighbour.
