I'm more of a prog rock/metal/rock guy, but I grew up on '80's/90's country. Both my parents were huge fans. I used to sit and listen to the Top 40 every week. The first time I heard this song was when me and my Dad had went and followed my Mom home in her new car ('95 Escort LX) and I made my Dad stop and buy Little Texas' Greatest Hits album and that was how I first heard this song. I remains one of my favorite songs of all time. Tim Rushlow and the whole band NAiLED it. This may be better than the studio version!! 👍

To me, this beautiful song has a different meaning, nothing to do with personal relationships. It's the song that has been playing through my head day and night since I lost my entire wonderful career as an entertainer to the COV*D curse.

Sons of the Desert, Ty Hearnden, Trace Adkins, Ricky Lynn Greag were all house bands at Rodeo Exchange in Ft Worth, Tx. I know because I was there! We were spoiled rotten with the best country music in the world! I wouldn't sell those memories for a Billion dollars!!!!

Who are your favorite country singers? I sometimes listen to radio garden online and I didn't see any country stations on the air in Germany. The UK has only a few. Australia has a few more. Lots in Canada, and especially here in the USA.

@@willp.8120 actually we don´t have one channel at all. in the 90ts was a Country music radio show calles ON THE ROAD AGAIN on air at 1 channel from 8 to 10 pm. That was because here in germany the Truckers have to stop all sunday long. And are allowed driving from 8 pm on 🙂but this show doesnt exist anymore since years and years unfortunately

Luke Combs: " Where the wild things are" Luke Combs: "Going Going Gone" Jake Owen: "Homemade" Jason Aldean: "try that in a small town" Cole Swindell: " She had me at heads Carolina" Of course, lots of various singers, such as Zac Brown Band, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Brad Paisley, Trisha Yearwood, Faith Hill, etc. What is the aversion to playing country music on the radio? It isn't because of English language because they play pop and rock with English. Just curious. Do most Germans know that American Country music exists?

The combination of Heath and Eddie Kilgallon was money. It was sad to see Eddie leave Ricochet. No idea what happened but the magic left Ricochet when Eddie left the band. Family seemed to take over and that's not a bad thing. Heath was the structure of the band with his lead guitar and vocals, but it was a team effort overall with Junior, Teddy, Eddie, Jeff, and especially Greg Cook. An incredible group of musicians. I am honored to have met them a few times.
