This song is amazing! I love the shrieking vocals around 1:10. The breakdown around 1:58 caught me by surprise. I never heard of "beatdown," so that's new to me.

@@plitchglitch thank you so much! Yeah it’s like a form of hardcore, more chuggy guitar riffs and such, still a little upbeat like hardcore but heavier. Slam is obviously just an offshoot of death metal, more ignorant haha. Glad I could o it you onto something new that you didn’t realize you could like, that is the goal! 🔥🤘🏼

@@SinizterOfficial Ooh, I could check out some beatdown bands. I find a slam a funny genre in a good way. I don't know a lot of bands besides Suffocation (on their debut album) and Extermination Dismemberment, but I like how slam songs are structured.

@@BrandeeM I am all brother, I am all the genres haha. Nah I do some metal, some trap, some phonk, and then some songs are a blend of literally 3-4 different styles. But some people categorize me as “Scream Rap” or “Trap Metal”. I’m currently working on a PURELY Metal album and I definitely have entirely Metal songs. If it is a heavy genre though, I can do it. I also have TWO Metal side projects, Legions of Malphas (Black Metal) and Hate Within (Deathcore)

@ was actually a meme that had Ov Sin and Virtue playing over it. Had to check out the full song. Then back tracked, which is why I was confused as the next song I tried was rap. It was good rap and I love the skull mask.
