Do you really expect me to believe that a group of people was able to travel close to 150 miles in 3 days especially when they didn’t know where they were going? The traveled 125 miles in mountain terrain in 4 days? This is not “irrefutable evidence.” This actually shows that the Book of Mormon is highly flawed.

Years ago, a Christian friend of mine came to me and said, "I bet you don't KNOW about the 3,000 changes in the Book Of Mormon." What? I appeared VERY shocked & surprised. He thought he had me by the throat! I said "where have YOU been? There's been over 14,500 changes in the BOM...and EVERY ONE OF THEM GOES BACK INTO PERFECT HEBREW. He didn't join the church, but he has NEVER TRIED to corner me again. We are NOT here to be SAVED, but every Christian will tell you we ARE here to be saved. They are wrong. And Satan will carefully drag them to Hell.

If the b of m was history we would not be looking for evidence it was "true". Millions of Jews living in the Americas would leave evidence like the Roman Empire left evidence. There are great stories in the book, true concepts in the book but it is not history. Satan has used Joseph Smith to decieve. Satan works thru witchcraft to decieve. To date not one great Jewish city has been found and never will because there are not any in all the Americas. The book never happened. Satan is brilliant. That is why he is called Lucifer. This world is mostly deception. Illusion. The Mormon Church is not the only Satanic ruse here. Jesus Christ I do believe in but the message is garbled by religion and the so-called holy books of religion. If one is looking for a system to believe in than the LDS Church is as good as any, perhaps even better than most in some ways. But system produces Pharisee and priestcraft. The LDS Church is that.

The Book of Mormon requires faith. In describing a path from Jerusalem to the Red Sea Joseph Smith pinpoints the correct directions (travelling South / South East, then turning East). In addition to my faith the Book of Mormon is over flowing with evidence.

Great presentation. I am glad this came up in my suggestions. It seems someone could say an Arabian explorer could have talked to Joseph Smith about his travels. It was very common, and in Joseph Smith's journals that he met many visitors from far away places. The devil's advocate could say this explorer had talked to JS about these details which he could have used for these chapters in Nephi.

I could be wrong, but i do not think all of the people who say, "Joseph Smith was a Polygamist," are also saying that means they believe the Church is false. I think the ones who say this are just trying to discredit Joseph Smith himself because they do not agree with Polygamy. I read the Church's official story on why Polygamy was in the Church, and it made complete sense to me. There were a lot of widows in the 19th Century who needed to be taken care of.

#1. You're using the word "strawman" incorrectly. It is distorting an argument to refute it, by oversimplification, exaggeration, misrepresentation of what you've said. A "red herring" is an attempt to reroute a discussion from its original topic and focus on something unrelated. Jumping from writing styles to polygamy is most certainly a red herring. #2. Everything presented here is hearsay without evidence. Since you presented the challenge, the burden of proof is on you to establish your argument. If archeologists are surprised at the accuracies found in the BOM, why not provide a link to them in the description? The burden only falls on us with counter evidence. It would be like me saying, "experts say cats can sense a burglar from 3.5 miles away, prove me wrong!" If I don't cite my exact source, you don't know if I'm bringing up a pear reviewed study, am quoting a wacko, or am pencil whipping my own conclusion with my own bias.

Just to add to what you said in the video about the word verily. I did a quick search in the bible on the same word and found that the same pattern with the word being used mostly by Jesus. It was interesting to find that he alone uses that word more than all the prophets and apostles combined. Also Jesus uses that word in the BoM more than all the other BoM prophets combined. Either Joseph Smith was a super genius for noticing what an extremely few people would have picked up on, or the Book of Mormon is true.

1. I just love how LDS like to change words in order to match their religion and try to come up with artifacts and claim that it proves the BOM. The map shows NEHEM, The Book of Mormon is Nahom, . Old Testament book Nahum, That is, yup, close enough so the BOM has to be true. right The LDS do not have an "OFFICAL" map for the BOM because they can only guess where these places might have been. The Bible had maps of the past and present places. That should be enough evidence. Sums it all up. Fiction or fact. 2. Did you know the BOM Land of Bountiful is not even Hebrew but Engish. 3. I also just love how LDS say Smith could of not written the Bom because he was not educated enough. HELLO he wrote the D and C. Wake up sleepers!

Sometimes Heavenly Father works in miraculous ways to bring someone to His true church : Many years ago 2 misionnairies in our ward in the Netherlands rang someone’s door , he did let them in ( was his first time meeting Elders ) and he told the Elders he had a malignant brain tumor that he would be operated on a few days later , the Elders asked him if they could give him a priesthood blessing and anointing ( after explaining what that was ) and he said yes ! He was blessed by those 2 Elders , and they went out after giving him their contact data . A few days later he called them that on the day of the operation they made one more ct- scan before the operation , and the doctors were amazed that the malignant brain tumor was gone , so they released him from the hospital after some more tests and he a few weeks later joined the church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints , and bore many times his testimony about this miracle from God that brought him to the fold of God !!!

I would say the only critics of the Book of Mormon who claim Joseph Smith was the sole author of said book are only scratching the surface and haven't given any thought to the possibility that others either helped Joseph Smith in the creation of the book or that much of the BoM was already written or cobbled together from various texts by authors who were more familiar with the ANE than Joseph Smith Jr. The sole authorship of the BoM theory is a rabbit trail not worth pursuing.

Hello, you're right that these are compelling correlations. I am a member of the Church, but these are not irrefutable proofs. For example the Nahum reference, pretty powerful, but is there any kind of possible way that he could have stumbled on a map named Nahum? Again, not criticizing the video as it is quite useful and somewhat powerful, but I wouldn't consider it proof as Nahum was included on ancient maps, and you do not have the name of those other places which are unique to the Book of Mormon inscribed anywhere. I would like to see irrefutable proof of the Book of Mormon as obviously, it would be quite helpful.

In the early 19th century, public knowledge of Arabian geography was limited, but ancient sources like the Bible and classical texts mentioned fertile regions in southern Arabia, linked to trade routes such as the Incense Route. While most people at the time believed Yemen was entirely desert, regions like Dhofar benefit from monsoon rains, making them fertile. Joseph Smith may have reasoned that coastal areas would be greener based on general geographic principles and possibly fragments of ancient or indirect knowledge from oral traditions or travelers’ accounts. Archaeological discoveries confirming such places could be seen as coincidental, retroactively fitting the Book of Mormon’s narrative. As for Nahom, I’d call it more an educated coincidence than pure luck. Joseph Smith, familiar with the Bible, could have drawn on the name “Nahum” and adapted it for his narrative. This explanation doesn’t require specific geographic knowledge but acknowledges Joseph’s familiarity with religious texts and the tendency to create names that fit historical contexts. While luck remains possible, this explanation suggests intention behind the name without requiring detailed knowledge of the Arabian Peninsula.

It's so funny how people claim that Joseph wrote the B of M. No one who knew him in Palmyra ever made that claim. They always claimed he stole it from Solomon Spaulding of View of the Hebrews or someone else. Why? Because they knew Joseph and they knew he wasn't capable of writing it. Many years later, after the other theories were disproved, detractors began claiming he wrote it because they had no other answer. Word print studies have proved that he didn't. The studies show that it was written by MULTIPLE authors. But, keep trying you guys. You're getting more and more desperate.

Recent research proves the North Eastern, indigenous, Tribes do have the Exact Genetic tag as should be expected. Lehi's cave has been found, with his name in-graved in it. Jews have stated, BoM was translated from Hebrew. The BoM has the following: Chaismus, Discovered in 1930's Quatrains, " " " Sidels law, " " " Individual Writing styles for each book. AI, Artificial Intelligence has confirmed and stated Joseph Smith Couldn't have and Didn't write the BoM. Writing styles are admissible in courts WORLD wide because they are as definitive as finger prints. In other words, Smith, performed the GREATEST MIRACLE in history, writing that book, or it was translated. The USA, in the 1800s, went out of its way to hide artifacts related to Indigenous tribes. Today, the Smithsonian has bee releasing that evidence and further amplifying the Validity and truthfulness of the claims and translation.
