Thanks for the video. Always happy to see MTB videos from back home (by back home, I meant Indonesia -- not necessarily Ijen...) Btw, 'ijen' is pronounced 'ee-gen'... 'i' like 'i-ndonesia' and 'jen' like 'gen-eration'. Hope that makes sense :-)

Great videos & reviews! How have your shocks been holding out? I’m currently running a Super Deluxe & a Pike on my bike (2017 Remedy), just wondering how the Zebb & Deluxe would compare if I were to ride one of these Advanced 2’s.

Thanks! The fork and shock have been great but I have been planning to upgrade suspension now that its been over a year and due for serving anyway. I am looking to upgrade to options that have more fine tuning ability as I think that's all this bike is missing currently.

Good work on those big drops in the top section. I haven't hit that last double drop over the tree root yet. There's also a nice trail to the left (on hill road) of where you started that second section, but headed more towards Ma Te Wa, just before the corner. Gotta walk up onto the side mound to see the entry. It's really good, loamy S-bends, some Tech drops and step chutes. Comes out just before that step-down you guys rode (as it heads into the open), then into the bottom of the DH.

I’m 170cm and looking at the S or M also. What are your thoughts? Always had S up to now and feel like the increased reach of the Giant vs my current bike will be enough even in small but keep to hear other’s opinions

@@roblowe8440 I'm one of the askers, I bought the Reign in S and I'm happy with it. My previous bike was Propain Tyee 29 in medium with 451 mm reach. I was looking for a more nimble/agile bike and that's what I got with my new Reign. I put a 200 mm dropper on it and a 40 mm rise handlebar and it's perfect.

You'll definitely notice a difference between high and low. It's a welcomed adjustment to suit people's preferences. More brands should add adjustable chainstay lengths too via dropouts. So easy to design and makes a huge difference to ride feel
@MrSupermugen
@MrSupermugen 9 ай бұрын
The adjustable drop outs arnt easy to design... You need to take into account: Chain length Hanger shock tune Suspension leverage changes alot. with the suspension change comes Rider weight balance aswell. It's not easy and doesnt often work as intended. If you want long CS, buy a bike with long CS.
