I remember seeing these riots on the news. I had tickets to see Queen at the CNE about a week later and was a little nervous, but nothing bad happened at all. Queen put on a great show. They arrived on time and delivered because they weren’t drugged-out assholes like AC.

So, my first riot. I crossed the bridge and picked up my friend on Yorkview near Islington and Queensway. I was maybe it RayRay was like 12 (with a party habit second to none. Seconol Mogadon. 714 Lemons and folding chairs that easily dislodged for solo Frisbee, made for a potentially lethal ending. Ray Patterson and I have touched the light of the moon, and partied with Al Dimeola and Dizzy Gillespie 😂. Fire it up son, and turn it up too. Tomorrow never really exists anyway. "don't move" - he's a quick wit

I was there..I was 16 stoned on ACID. Came with 3 friends. I ended up near the from..by the red wooden shitty fence. I was wearing dark blue velvet high wasted pants and clunky high shoes. People starting pushing. Now I'm pressed up against that red wooden flimsy fence. This huge dude behind me, was punching the air screaming Alice's name. The fence came down and one of my shoes got stuck. I bent diwn to put it back on.All of a sudden I felt like I was being crushed. I called out and using my hands begged the Security to help me. Someone grabbed me and pulled me over another fence. From there I went under the stage towards the back. There I are saw 3 or 4 limos. Within a minute or 2 here comes the Alice Cooper band..all going into different Limos. I was still tripping on the Acid. Have no idea or memory if I found my friends or how I got home. The next day my blue velvet pants were covered in that stuff from the red wooden fence. Never stopped going to concerts..I know this was long, but what a great memory.

A week after this incident I went to see Queen at the CNE. I had just turned 13 and I was really hoping that Queen wouldn’t pull a ‘no show’. Thank god they showed up.

Crazy show i was 15 yrs old first time on lsd , got lost from my older brother and his buddies when the police started making peaple move outside stadium , the damage was every where ( cars on display to win @ cne were damaged with long poles busting windows , guy walked by me with steel newspaper stand told me to watch out when he through it into the telephone booth shattered glass every where ) no wonder im still rockin at shows @ 56 lol . I was the girl (brown hair, blue shirt, gargantuan purse, nervously rubbing my chin) standing behind the guy taunting the cops at 1:37. I didn't know him, but you can see me a few seconds later, pushing him up the stairs to help him get away from the cops. I would NEVER do that now, lol. My two brothers went missing in the crowd, and I later suffered a knee injury when I was knocked down by a swarm of fans running away from tear gas or something. That knee still bothers me to this day. :(
