You don't have quickshifter on it? In my opinion quickshifter on R1200GS/R1250GS is a must! 1000x better sound!

I just bought a 2006 and LOVE the sound. In the rider's helmet the sound is much more pronounced, especially once the v-tec hits!

Theese bikes are so much louder than the r1150gs ... even with aftermarket mufflers on the r1150gs this is louder:)

+Jack Stormer The VFR800 uses the same firing order as the R1, that's why.

***** Nah the VFR has a 180° crank, but they fire at the same timing 180° -> 90° -> 180° -> 270°.

É o som do VTEC :) abaixo das 6000 rpm o som é estranho. Mas quando sobe das 6000, tudo muda

+filipesa Rider Com certeza! Em 2016 estou planejando descer da Noruega até Portugal, quando o maldito inverno passar. Qual o roteiro que você recomenda? Eu tenho uma GSX600F 1996 que estou preparando para viagens. É boa moto, mecânica simples, não tem nada para quebrar.

thanks! I used the tablet (could be a smartphone) recording the sound. Tablet inside jacket's pocket, and then mixed GoPro video, GPS gpx and Audio MP3...
