The main reason I've build the board this way is that you have more options when you respond to cards. Since Hexstia is forced to tribute the monster it points to, you preferably want to use the effect of the monster it points to first (in my case Silquitous). If we'd put Adminia right of Hexstia, we could be put in a pickle down the line when we'd want to respond to a spell/trap with Hexstia. I do think both options have their advantages and disadvantages (the main reason for your line would be to not have to include the 'bricks' that are Peritrator and Revitalization). It is definitely a viable option, so thanks for letting me know this line!

Me too. And just wait for the 'White Woods' cards to be introduced into MD (will take another 6 months, I think). Those also work great with Runick.

And they butchered super heavy and those were the easiest deck I ever made diamond with. Then snake eye. And tear. I’ve had so many meta decks they’ve butchered. I think they need to do like 15 urs per uncraft but they won’t cuz money

Hmm... that would be interesting, haven't heard of it before. I'm very fond of Plunders (and Megalith), so I will look into it. At first glance, the Plunder locking might be annoying to deal with. Hoping it will not be too severe of a limitation for this to work. Thanks for letting me know! Edit: I think I have seen the list, it is the one also combined with Runick and Plunder, right? Just by seeing the list I am not at all impressed. The way he has build his Megalith engine... triple Hagith when you only need 2 (and since his only search target is Unformed, you might just get away with playing 1) , only 2 Ophiel, no Bethor, no S:P. (prob too expensive for the TCG). Also, I believe that someone calculated that you need 15 Runick quick-plays (in a 40 card deck) to make it consistent, he is playing 12 which is not optimal. Plays two Fountains (I know, it is a TCG list) but no Hugin. Lastly, he is relying on Emblem to move into his Plunder ED monsters and is not playing the field spell, and the field spell is where most of Plunder's recursion is coming from. TLDR: it is a weird list with lots of inconsistencies, still interesting to improve upon though.

@@Pf4nni Definitely cool in theory, worthy enough to be tested (especially when running close to optimal ratios). I do think in practice it might dissapoint, but hey, that is what testing is for! I'm still very happy that you shared it with me, so thanks for that!

My quick thoughts; fun, doesn't seem that easy to summon (best is probably via Booty and one of the tag outs - Red, White, Blackbeard - and can Booty set an attribute to Divine Beast though?). Summoned this way it may 'only' negate and destroy twice at maximum (due to its arrows pointing left and right - none pointing up). The only thing I don't like that you have a harder time using this card in versions that lock you into fiends (Lab, Chimera). But it is never wrong to promote a pure version. Also, changing its attribute to anything but Divine Beast might make it too easy to summon, so it has to be that or its effects need to be toned down. I like the creativity!

@@cognitivegrub0 see that's the thing. There's only three Divine beasts in the game. So if you want to summon Oordyr You would have to fulfill its requirement of at least three Plunder patrol monsters and two other monsters

@@anthonypeipert5011 Ah, that was the part that I missed, its requirements for a normal link summon (obviously with a link-5 I was aware it would need 5 at least 5 monsters somewhere in its summoning line), but is it '4+ monsters including 3 "Plunder Patroll" monsters'? We'd better going to include triple Speedroid Terrortop and the Adventure package to even get enough bodies on board to make it worthwhile. Also, summoned normally would give it 3 negates + destroy at maximum. (I know Konami - if they would even read it - would never print it, but I like the idea to just speculate about it)

Thanks for your kind words! Regarding your question, since Abyss Actors (AA) lock themselves into AA for most of their combo lines, significant changes to the extra deck hardly pop up. Nevertheless, you can never go wrong with strong generic link cards such as S:P Little Knight and Sky Striker Azalea, perhaps some Pendulum support (Electrumite/Exceed the Pendulum), or you can go into powerful XYZ's such as Bagooska, ZEUS or TY-PHON. But again, all situational, as we are often locking ourselves anyway. For the main deck, the bunch of handtraps often shift per meta. I believe that Nibiru is rather strong in the current format and will help you overpower them during your turn (when going second). Other than that, the usuals (Imperm, Ash, Maxx C). TLDR: only some minor changes per meta.

Master Duel (with the small exception of the bumpers, which is some 'French'-esque music found in the YT Library). The songs are (in order of appearance): - Sherry LeBlanc Theme (DL) - Dennis McQuad Theme (DL) - Alexis Roads Theme (DL) - Akiza Azinski Theme (DL) - Digital Bug Theme (MD) I am pretty sure there are playlists with Duel Links and Master Duel theme songs, so enjoy!

The 'custom' option was added later (don't know when, I am quite surprised to see it), but it gives you the option to change settings more specifically instead of the pre-sets given by Konami. For example, you can remove the toggle button, change the settings at the start of the duel and at the end of each turn. Not sure yet how exactly it will function, so I will need to test that first. Might make a seperate video for it if it is anything significant.

Currently playing the event but for ladder it is now mostly Visas Yubel. However, I think I'll be shifting to Vanquish Soul soon, as I am also a bit tired of playing SE.

Yubel mixes well with any Fiend deck that doesn't particularly needs its normal summon, such as Labrynth.

Thankfully, Yubel is relatively cheap.

Scareclaw certainly is the best engine for Mannadium, but with Kash (Fenrir + Scare-Kash) and Hero (4 cards) as a supplement. This version in Yubel also isn't Mannadium, it is a Visas supplement. But it is the lesser version if you'd compare it with the Sacred Beast / Unchained one, which all fall in short when compared with Fiendsmith. Think I have to refrain from uploading for a little while, I simply do not have the time at the moment. Uploads will be very sporadic (if any). I try to get to it, but it is just very busy (all good stuff though).

I've heard that Yubel Chimera also works decently well, so that one might also be worth a try (if you have the cards of course).

It certainly is. And you may pop your own Dark Tear monsters (which is everyone but Reino and Rulkallos) with Nightmare Pain to search. It did came up for me with only Light-Heart on the field, so I see it coming up in a Tear list too.

I 100% agree! It is up to the user whether they want to free up the extra deck space (as without Stained Greaves, you will need to run at least 2 Break Swords) or the main deck space. I have often opted for the latter, but your option of running Greaves might be better!

It is definitely harder than either of the pure versions, but I would not rate it amongs the hardest decks currently in Master Duel.

It is now banned in the TCG but still very legal in Master Duel. I don't think that there is a 1-card combo without Linkuriboh for Altergeist at this given moment, but I'll try to find one (if there really is one). To other combo's are not strictly relient on Linkuriboh, so you can always perfom those.

Honestly, I just use Almiraj in place of Linkuriboh. For the most part it works, though you don't get the sneaky battle protection without Linkuriboh

That would work mostly similar during our own turn, but we cannot use it like Linkuriboh during the opponent's turn (in the 1st combo, we cannot tribute off the just reborn Meluseek to trigger its search effect). So you would have a little less to work with. Edit: Meluseek does need to be normal summomed for it to be eligible to be linked off for Almiraj, so One for One will no longer be a starter for it. Relinquished Anima would then be a suitable target to go in to.

Purrely Spright even topped an event recently, so it is at least decent. Still think pure (with a lot of hand traps) is better, at least, pre-banlist. Will put Runick Branded on the list, but I do have a couple of other things planned first, so it might take a while.

Have a replay of a duel room (I am playing against myself, so I can assure my 'opponent' only does what I want it to do). Replay's ran directly from a duel room are with both hands visible.

Yep, great summary. Was really surprised about Vaalmonica's performance, especially because they aren't at full power yet and at full power in the TCG/OCG they weren't doing much. Regarding ZARC or Supreme King, a Supreme King package is much more potent in Pendulum Magician than on its own. Still outperformed by Vaalmonica's though.

If you have used Exosister Martha's effect (to special summon itself from your hand), you are locked into summoning Exosister's only for the rest of that turn, thus disallowing you to summon Utopic Future. If you managed to get 2 rank 4's on the field without using Martha's effect (or it is a different turn), you should be able to go into Utopic Future. Hope this helps!

It is a rough one in this deck, as the ED is pretty tight. You can consider replacing the second Merrymaker (when things go well, you will shuffle the first one back to the ED anyway), or by replacing Apollousa. Instead of going into Apo, you can go into S:P for two possible interruptions (1 banish on summon, 1 temporary banish when a monster effect is used). Another option would be to forego on TD Colossus and go for Archnemeses Protoss instead, although I am not completely sure if you can summon it in this version of the deck.

Melffy Mommy can only attach beast-types to itself and Purrely and Purrelyly are both fairies, so I don't see that working.

Haven't played them in a while, but I quickly remembered why 😅. Crafted some Shifters for when Ritual Beasts get their update as Shifter can be used as a combo enabler in that deck. And since I crafted them, I thought this would be the best deck to (ab)use them, and they did put in some work (and I know, I could use them in other decks too).

@@cognitivegrub0 to be fair, I really don't like floo, and I especially dislike floodgates. Since shifter is a floodgate handtrap, it's the worst kind of card in my book. Floodgates you can get hit by even if they're not on board, even if you go first and it's your turn...

@@Wortigon2000 I am a little conflicted about floodgates. If you can build towards it with a multi-step combo having plenty of room to be disrupted, I think it is somewhat ok (think Vaylantz ending on Dyna). Floos main line being only 3 steps is a too little short in my opinion. I am a fan of 'floodgates' that limit both players during our own turn only, such as Gigantic Spright shutting down Nib for example. Don't think there are many others (can think off Marincess locks both players into water) What I heavily dislike are the no skill hand trap and or set and flip floodgates such as TBCOO, Skill Drain and also Shifter. There is no real skill and interaction with them. Just draw the out is not fun, but it is able to win against the meta, which I wanted to see for myself. Slight plus for the Floos, I do like their art.

@@cognitivegrub0 dunno man, the only floodgate I ever liked was "hidden villiage of the spellcasters", and I only ever used it in my Dark magician deck. Alternatively, as Black Winged Assault Dragon burns for 700 on every monster effect activation, having 3 of them on my endboard with blackwings could potentially count as a floodgate to an extent I guess, as it limits what my opponent can do, but not by directly saying "you can't activate cards" just saying "you're gonna be taxed on that"

Glad you've enjoyed it! The Banshee package is useful for any deck that has some stray level 4's and banishes some cards (Ritual Beast - after the new cards, is a deck I can think off). Also, for some decks, you may even go into Archnemeses Protos using largely the same engine (Flag can search it).

@@cognitivegrub0 the list was a somewhat reduced bird package (3 Robina, 2 eagle, 1 toccan, 1 empen, trap and 2 monarch, no other cards honestly due to space and, well, cost), 9 monster floodgates, cards like dimensional guardian to be even more annoying and after that just a bunch of go 2 cards like change of hearts, storm and stuff like that. The idea was to start with Robina, combo and after empen ns a floodgate and call it a day

@@filippogamberini4026 That is dirty indeed. Was it consistent in setting up the birds though? I often had to rely on search cards to get me to Robina to start the birds from flocking in. Even ran 3 Jack in the Hands for this very reason (still do not like that card).

@@cognitivegrub0 I play other consistency card like pots and small world which works really well both like barrier statues to find Robina. It's not the best tbh, but it happens honestly more than expected. The big issue is like committing to a NS. If Robina gets negated, you're screwed
