I always loved those coffin gas tanks, and that bike could put you in a coffin if you weren’t skilled lol. They sure don’t make them like that anymore. On the other hand, 1973 was not a great year for suspension on an MX bike. Looks like it has something like 3 inches of travel for the rear.😅

Me and a buddy of mine had the 125 back around 1979. That was a lot of fun, but the 250 is so much more, very nice bike! ✌️

Very nice. That's a good looking bobber. I see a lot of them that just don't look right. How much play do you want in the chain on a hard tail like that?

I remember when those were on the track. That looks like brand new! CZ, maico, Penton, bultaco, montesa etc were dominating in my early race days. That stuff was big bux and way out of our young reach back then.

My very first bike was a TM-75. It was so slow,, and handled like $hit, but I loved it. Fast forward a few years, I went to a 79 CR 250,, Then to an 81 YZ 465. Then back to a CR 250. The TM was the most fun, because I was a kid,, and everything was fresh and new.. /the sound of that bike brings back memories.
