Hi!~ I think one person room is really rare. All of the exchange students get two person room. with Random assigning, I think they mean roommates. at least that's how I read it on paper back then. But most of the time, EU Students stay with EU students. Asian students stay with asian students.

Heyyy, I was lucky enough to went on an exchange before the COVID19 broke out (fall 2019). but if I am not wrong you have to be in quarantine straight after you reach and leave the airport. Not sure if there is any arrangement from Konkuk.

hey Jesse, I am glad that my video was helpful. 1. I have never seen it personally nor hear much about, I think is really rare and expensive. 2. No, they don't allow people choose their roommate to avoid double works. but most of the time they keep the people with the same nationally together. and you can always discuss it with your future roommate for change if things don't go well (I personally suggest you to have a non-friend roommate, you will get to know more people and make more friends). 3.No it's not included. Unfortunately I don't remember the price, but the price is definitely reasonable per/meal. You can always take a look after you arrive! or try it out, they have individual meal tickets too. 4. international students is prior for the dorm. so don't worry, but do apply and paid on time. Dorm is a nice and a different experience from the western Culture. the good side of dorm is that it's in the campus and near by the campus, has everything you need. On the other hand, if you like to go out late night and want to stay with your friends or having friends to stay over, maybe an apartment would be nice. If you have any more question feel free to ask, I hope you and your friend will have a pleasant time there 💖.

Hey there, i think this vary per course and per person. but personally, i put more works and time on Dutch uni than Konkuk. I dont know if it has to do with it being a minor or because we are exchange students. I had the feeling that Korean students have way more pressure than exchange students😥
