My buddy and I were ice fishing on 7th Lake which is a few miles north of Old Forge, at around 1 pm I heard a loud wood knock come from one of the tall hills on the east side of the lake... after 10 seconds I heard another loud wood knock come from another hill top next to the hill top where the first knock came from. Then a third loud knock came from where the first wood knock came from a few seconds later! These hills were 1.25 miles from where we were fishing, measured on Google Earth. The knocks were quite loud even at that distance. This happened around 2015.

Went camping at 4th lake on 9n. Chilling with my wife next to the camp fire late at night! All of a sudden, nature hit the mute button on us!! All of a suddenly a 60 ft tree just snapped in half and falls and landed 8 ft from our tent. Took pics of it that night and next morning.. no storms, no wind, tree was healthy. Idk but crazy still

i have a barnesville rd ,owls head ny near titus mtn area that ive had several odd experiences with different people.. cr14 re tavern rd and cr 26 red tavern rd and state rte 30 intersection..there is eagle pond/lake .in the 70s little girl disappeared ..missing for three days..found safe ..told rescuers stayed with a family of bears..that is why i was exploring the area,, happened upon the trail salomon river runs near by with marked walking trail.. closed bridge over river splits the road ..dead ends..barnesville rd....200 yards into trail saw three trees snapped at same heights blocking trail ..most trails have atv use.. this one can not walk down easily in places..as we went back in to forest i made noises listening for responses..nothing really ..got to end of trail i thought ..made a lot of noise suddenly about 10 feet up clicking noise that was followed by two more same clicking noise about 20 feet apart from each other.. my daughter said she felt something heavy running on ground.. bedroock there..we left.. went back several more times and had other odd things happen

My ex-girlfriend’s family is from Keen. They have Bigfoot encounters going way back. I also have a buddy that grew up in Glen Falls. Many of his family and friends have had encounters as well. Bigfoot is Definitely in the ADK

My fellow campers and I had an encounter at night at our cabin in Saranac Lake (1982) Something pounded on the walls several times. It was so hard that the whole cabin shook. Now this was a large and sturdy structure. In my opinion, no human could shake it as violently as it was.

@AdirondackBigfoot- I've never had a direct sighting, but have heard many strange things in those woods. I'm 55 and familiar with normal wildlife sounds. Foxes. Different cat species. Moose, all can sound terrifying if you're not familiar with those sounds, but I am. The most dramatic was a loud conversation between a group of Male & Female Bigfoot! Had to be! Very loud, definitely a language, sounded like an argument, & I think the Boyz lost, because the angry sounds coming from the Males were horrible! I still hear them in my head & this was 15 years ago! Another experience, witnessed by me and a few friends, was a dog, from a camp a few hundred yards away, started going crazy barking, but it wasn't a defensive bark, this dog was obviously terrified! Then a roar happened you could feel in your chest! It sounded like a lion inside a Amphitheater! The dog went silent after the roar! I live in Ithaca NY now, & I can tell you they're here too! I'm 5 minutes from Cornell University, and in a small patch of woods I found one foot print that measured 18 inches long & 5 inches wide! It was only one print in a very muddy area! There's some odd tree structures in that area that have stood unchanged for at least 20 years. Through all the snow & storms! I've documented them on my small channel here on KZbin. Very interesting. High drama narration. Video footage from the same hiking trails I've traveled. I've been camping in the Old Forge area for over 50 years. I did see a female bigfoot once. She was enormous and rudely blocked the aisles at the hardware store, preventing passage by the other shoppers. I think she was from Utica.

We had an annual tradition of camping on the Moose River every Memorial Day. The tradition was started right after WW2 when American soldiers returned to the states and a group would gather every year to camp the weekend on the Moose. I was first introduced to it in 1996. Tried to make it up every year. Great bunch of guys. Mostly veterans. Never saw or heard anything, but have experienced the entire Forrest going silent and have had the feeling of ‘being watched’ when we took day hikes. Beautiful area. About a 5 to 7 mile hike in from the parking lot to the riverside campgrounds. I’m a fairly experienced camper and don’t get spooked easily, but definitely had a few strange feelings up there. It’s only a couple few hours from Whitehall, which has had fairly credible sightings. Who knows?

Myself and 2 friends encountered 2 bigfoots in 1987 in Adirondacks backpacking n fishing for brooktrout at Murphy lake in Hamilton county at 130am we were 10ft from the 1st bigfoot. We could hear him breathing. They came back 2 nights later throwing rocks n trees at our lean to. We had clear visual of both bigfoots. Those faces are embedded in my brain. Dark human like flat noses . Grunting growls the Todd Standing video of the dark bigfoot is very close. Would like to give my encounter story to this guy who does these Adirondacks interviews. It's quite long because of them coming back 2 nights later n give him accurate description. N tree knocks n ungodly whooping 1st across the 40acre lake. I'm from Wells . 12190 lake Algonquin. I saw his interview of the man camping in Wells n his encounter I know exactly where. My friend n his wife were camping at the Northampton campgrounds in Sept for 2weeks the same time the bigfoot encounter there of a man. N a woman. They were at site 63. Bill was 100yds from that site n heard bigfoot he wants to tell his story
