Had 3 marks of excellence and over 2200 WN8 on my ELC, my crew on it had 6+ skills learned, thankfully I quit a few patches before this nerf rolled out since I was also an avid French SPG player, but they killed SPGs completely with their retarded change to be a useless support vehicle. I lived to derp 1300 dmg HEs into idiots facechecking around the corner with my SPG and I loved speeding around from bush to bush in my ELC and be a literal ninja on the battlefield, never reinstalling this game, it's dead to me.

Yeah I'm currently working on my French light tank line and I'm using the ELC now and it SUCKS. It's a worthless tank. Too bad I didn't play it when it was still a good tank.

It was my favorite tank... :( As soon as I saw the difference I tried one battle, just one, it was a pile of shit, I thought "welp, at least I get free credits..." Any people who still use it will just have to kemp bush and be unfair plane

When I go to features I just have blank lines. I have selected tbs on uart3 an tryed 6 still nothing

Well after some time I thing it is not so bad. Yes I loved old Elc with 90mm, it was great tank not for everyone. I think it is still tank not for everyone and it is good for me... I have over 2000 battles on it most of that with pre 9.18 version. I start to love rottary turret and 75mm. Even the train resistance is much more worst than with 90mm. Dont you think? But that is why only some people could enjoy it. You need to be much more better driver than in old days... I think 75mm pene is in "real" much more better than 90mm´s and those 12,5sec of reload wich I got with no coffe and with BIA is real pain. I love games where I can do 1500dmg with 75mm, but other ELCs in battle are playing boring TD game play with 90mm and finish with two or three penetrated shots...

They destroyed an equilibrate tank, when others overcheated are still running our maps, f*ck. All that because some noobs are afraid of a real skill needed tank.

Im happy they nerfed it. the low profile, combined with the speed and the decent hull traverse made it mostly a game of luck to shoot the ELC on range, while he does his scouting circles. I found other tier 5 scouts much easier to hit.

Too bad. ELC is now very boring tank. At least I did my 3000 battles with this tank I . It was the reason why I play this game. But not now. I enjoyed so much fun with this tank. I think its time to find another game :-(

Why did they nerf it ? ELC was in no way OP. It was a tank that truly required a lot of skill and experience. I remember playing it for the first time and cursing it. Ultra high mobility was the only thing that was in its favor. Its inaccuracy meant most of the attacks I carried out were sneak attacks. Hit and Run. Well I updated the game and without prior knowledge about the nerfing I played the ELC and guess what I got outmaneuvered by LTs and MTs far heavier than ELC.

I've just been playing the elc and it now sucks, the luchs at tier 4 is better, the chaffee is better as you said. Shame they didn't bump it up to tier 6 and leave it alone. Just not worth playing. I tried the 75mm, interesting, though you need full gold, AP will bounce off an STRV 42..
