Hey man it's real simple We have to do something about it and like I have said on every single site a petition started at every Harley dealer to get rid of the board of directors and the COO who are woke liberal nut jobs and don't even stand for anything other than the woakism that they are not trying to do but are successfully doing to HD. I own a 23 model so I won't be getting rid of it because the value of it has plummeted. It's not losing mind it's about what can we do before and actual boycott because a boycott will absolutely destroy Harley. Every single dealership doing a petition would actually work.

Terrible move by HD. As a serious 2-up tourer I think this would be a huge mistake. If they cancel the Limited I will be looking elsewhere. There are sooo many upgrades that would be needed to make a RG or SG like a limited. Lower fairings, painted inner fairing, tour pack, heated grips, plush backrest/arm rests for the passenger, rear speakers, luggage rack, RDRS system, etc., etc...... I'm sure they could make most of this available in packages, but at what cost?!? You would be looking at CVO money very quickly! No thanks.
@BryTheBiker16 сағат бұрын
Yes it is going to be expensive to built out a limited for sure. But it seems there is not a market for them. The BMW Grand America looks like fun
@bryaningham239122 сағат бұрын
This is a shame. The Ultra and Limited were always the best bang for the buck when you wanted a tour pack because of all the extra options that are thrown in. Now, for it to go to a package means these dealers that are bad actors are going to charge a markup for the privilege of putting that package on. I wouldn't be surprised to see the SG and RG also become packages on the king. Sad, other manufacturers tried it and failed..

Wow. Parting out the full-dress bikes is a really consumer-hostile move for anyone who is doing more than pub crawls and short rides. And I can definitely imagine that trying to re-create the full-dress trim level will cost a lot more when it is sold and installed separately at the dealer. What an incredibly dumb choice Harley is making. It probably explains why they made the Road Glide 3 based on the 'Freewheeler' platform i.e.: without a tour pack and with absolutely no way to install one due to the Freewheeler's trunk design. Harleys are not cheap bikes: over $50k Canadian for a trike. Being nickled and dimed to get a proper touring bike is making me re-think my desire to stay with the brand.

This was expected when they chose not to refresh the fairings for the Limited/Ultra 2 points here.... 1) Harley is streamlining to combat increasing prices....As much as folks complain about Harleys prices, they haven't increased as much as some other consumer goods. 2) There are tons of folks with new takeoff HD parts..... Whether it be windshields, exhausts, bags, lights, etc..... It just makes a lot of sense for HD to sell a platform with packages and dealer instaled PnA parts.

I do see an issue with used values going this direction. Harleys are notorious for not adding resale/trade-in value for added customization. An Ultra Limited will have higher book value than a street glide with extra touring accessories added on. Packages may be an easy way to allow for unique purchasing possibilities but if those packages aren't offered directly from Harley at time of build, I can see them easily being lost money when it comes time to sell or trade in.

We all know that having a Harley-Davidson is something more than having a motorcycle. It represents more.There are other brands that do NOT top the "woke list," and what you are missing is that the Harley-Davidson motor company lies on its back for a political direction that most enthusiasts, in the long run, know will kill the brand. Well not the brand, but the motorcycles, as we know them. Woke culture is not compatible with what most people associate with the motorcycle culture Harley-Davidson has represented until now. The strong independent American freedom-loving rebel now supports the Globalists and is associated with policies (of you know who) -pushed by the WEF - WHO - EU ... Consider what Harley-Davidson now represents. Ask yourself... Is this what you want? Is this what you want to be associated with... Because that's who you will be associated with.

Hey Bry, it appears to me that maybe you are missing exactly what is happening. The passionate H-D rider does not want to kill The Moto Co. In fact I have not heard the term “kill Harley Davidson” until I watched your video. What he/she wants is for H-D to stay out of politics. Sure there are the extremists who say they want to burn their H-D gear and sell there Harleys and what not, but for the most part I believe it is just BS. What most H-D customers want is for H-D to stay out of what they do not belong in. The Moto Co. has been bringing us people together long before the intimidation of wokeness and DEI reared it’s ugly head, in-spite of our differences and because of the common fire that burns within our sole. Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Bry, Stay Safe.

All good points and I appreciate the perspective. From what I understand none of this was a public push. Every brand as conversation about DEI etc to address new markets But it came to light doing an interview vs them “pushing” it on people.

I love my bike... The corporation sucks. (and it has for decades) The part YOU aren't getting is that it's ALREADY nearly impossible to support the factory. Try finding a part for a bike older than 10 years old at your local dealer. Try ordering a part from outside of your local's "sales area" because they may actually have it in stock. The factory is already screwing itself. You couldn't pay me enough to buy a ridiculous $75 t-shirt when I can't find a drive-belt for a 2008 bike. Also, you may have forgotten that Harley was within a whisker's breadth of already being extinct were it not for AMF. It absoluteu CAN happen, despite your tales of rainbows and unicorns. And if the factory continues screwing it's customers, it SHOULD happen.
