I have both the 301 in .410 and 20ga The .410 has a .385 restriction "non" ported carlsons choke and that thing loves any load of tss #9 at all ranges out to 50 yards. My 20 ga has a rectifier .560 restriction " non" ported choke and its absolutely unreal with any tss load and is straight ridiculous with any lead #6 load. Especially the longbeard xr #6's..... Lights out !!! The patterns out to 60 yards are almost unreal !!!

Those 3rd degree are trash lol. That 40 is barely adequate. Shoot straight tungsten and get rid of the lead blended shot.

The 270 is a great round. it is accurate, has plenty of power for small and large game, and you can find ammo at any Walmart for it. I think that it is an overlooked round just like the 30-06 Springfield.

I'm a hunter and have been for over 47 years. This is just my opinion, but I don't think that this type of video is what you want the non-hunting public to THINK that YOU want THEM to SEE. It is a part of the hunt that should not be celebrated, as the public will judge such actions. Remember, the U.S. population only boasts 5% as hunters, and 10% as anti-hunters. The remaining 85% are non-hunters and this type of video may just help to turn them into anti-hunters. You have an obligation to all of us to not repeat this mistake.

We only open the windows that we need. We stay back in the blind in the shadows. That definitely helps with the silhouette. As far as his poundage, he is at 36. Just above legal for our state.

He puts a lot of time in all year long. Hanging cameras, food plots and practicing. I am one proud dad. It takes a lot of discipline for a youngster to harness all that emotion in the moment and make a good shot. Especially with a compound. Thanks for watching!!

1. Get some moleskin on your rest. Bow should be silent when you draw. 2. Work on your TP. Watch the video. It is literally 1 second from full draw to shot. No way you had the pin settled. 3. Stop filming. Put up a GoPro and let it record. Camera and arm are just more distraction. Focus on hunting, not the camera. 4. Lungs are not that low. Heart only. 5. You got very lucky. If he had not ducked you would have missed him (which means your pin was not on the deer). Glad it worked out!

1. I have moleskin on rest but shoot so much it wore off little by little and in the yard I never noticed the arrow getting louder. 2. I knew the buck was not sticking around so I didn’t waste any time shooting when pin hit behind the shoulder. 3. GoPro videos are great POV cameras but not great for capturing the shot. Self filming is very hard and soo rewarding when it comes together. 4. I shoot a 1 pin and had it at 20. Buck moved out to 25. I knew he was on high alert and he would most likely duck the shot. If he didn’t I was willing to miss low as apposed to wounding high. Thanks for being so critical of everything in the video though.

Congrats. Dad got a 6 pt this year that coyotes got to before we could get back to it overnight, so he lost ~10 lbs of hind meat, but that buck went 300+ yards despite it being a fantastic shot. PA bucks are just too resilient

I get my free trial cams from public land. They are everywhere! Sometimes you have to walk a bit and other times get on a buddies shoulders but I’ve gotten 3 dozen in the past 2 years, it’s great!
