I noticed that I was being approached bt mental health and law enforcement when they started talking ng me to the hospital and not to jail when they would get called. In thae mental state i was in at the time it was very effective. I have proved to be very resilient and that is a direct result i believe. I would say my direction at one point was tantamount to domestic terrorism, thoughthats an extreme description. I wasnt seeks ng it but had definitely gotten close to God if you get my drift ☠️

Thank you, you don't need a thing, until you know what that "thing" is... And this knowledge is what I needed and never would have thought I would ever look something in this area of "need to know". . . Thank you

So is this a lecture on 12 Step or increasing support for students that dont want to use substances? If the answer is just make sure you tell students to go to meetings, then you are basically saying AA is needed on campus. Also it sounds like this person is confused regarding the term "treatment." AA/12 Step is not treatment. For a research expert on language and it's impact, you would think he would avoid suggesting it is equivalent to evidence based treatment like SMART and CBT

sorry, had to post another thing. Dr. Kelly also seems to have outcomes regarding AA that even they don't agree with. You would think they would hire him to conduct and promote his research if his findings suggest AA is more effective than CBT. But he does not show or cite any of these research. These are the AA GSO, the governing organization overseeing all 12 Step meetings, 1990 published analysis of a survey period between 1977 and 1989. “After just one month in the Fellowship [meaning AA,] 81% of the new members had already dropped out. After three months, 90% have left, and a full 95% have disappeared inside one year!” (Kolenda, 2003, Golden Text Publishing Company)
