Sorry I didn’t see this comment until now, I’ve been busy prepping for a new sticker material release 😆. It does feel so amazing making items for others! I know it can be nerve wrecking on people being upset at times, but you definitely learn that you just can’t please everyone. As a service you try really hard, but there is only so much you can do in the end. Just know that there is always someone out there who will genuinely enjoy what you make though, and as long as you be the friendly person you truly are in life, people will click with you :). Definitely try out making a service, it never hurts to try 😄. I’ve read a bit on Roland printers, though I haven’t figured out a specific model to choose yet. I’m going to definitely look up that model! Thank you! I really hope one day to get one of their printers 😄.

@@ArielleStromickArt I’ve seen a lot of the like warehouse printing business like it since it’s good for making like banners and it’s print and cut too. I do want to do it! The art I receive from people is always so fun to look at! So much talent out in the world of art, it's exciting to get new orders :D. I do really enjoy making stickers for others, so going this route has been such a fun thing. Actually, I used glossy photo paper and glued them onto a large cardboard box piece. :D If you want to make one yourself, create your image and then use the website rasterbator.net to create the pieces needed to put together your cutout image. It helped me a ton since I could not figure out the measurements on my own 😂. I thought about using sticker paper, but the glue on method allowed a bit of room for mistake fixes (like sliding the paper on the glue before it dried).

It went okay for me fortunately, but it really was a rough con. Day 1 was not great with sales, but day 2 somehow made up for it. I call it a miracle because I was not expecting to hit the mark I did at the end of it all. If the con revamps their new setup, I think it could do much better next time around. Sadly some artists were really unhappy :( So it was indeed a mixed review event.

It was such a last minute idea haha, I'm glad you liked it! XD I bought the jar for the idea the morning of the first day lol.

Usually selling FanArt is considered a grey area in art, it isn’t really a big ordeal to sell it as long as you aren’t mass producing items with known characters. Artists usually only make small amounts of items with fanart. Also, big companies themselves sometimes encourage people to make fanart, while a few out there don’t want it at all. There are some websites out there that have lists explaining which companies are okay, or not okay, with people creating and selling fan merchandise too. Again, it’s just a big grey area of art where you don’t necessarily need permission to sell it. I hope this made sense 😅😂.
